How incredible is Moses' transformation? ๐
This sweet boy used to live with a woman who loved her animals dearly but faced challenging living conditions without water, electricity, or heating.
Dedicated animal rescuer, Tatyana helped as much as she could and provided food and other essential resources to Moses' family.
Ultimately, it was in his best interest to find a new home and with the help of volunteers, Tatyana was able to find a loving new home for precious Moses โคโ๐ฉน
His new life is filled with joy, comfort, and happiness. We are so proud of his transformation and grateful to everyone who made this possible.

Stepashka, a defenceless little puppy, was brought to Irina's shelter in Ukraine eight years ago with a broken spine and a bladder prolapse.

Little Darcey was only 3 months old when he was found in Tulcea, Romania, with a broken paw and battling a severe case of panleukopenia (feline distemper), a dangerous viral disease ๐
Unfortunately, his paw was badly broken and infected, and the infected part had to be removed to improve his chance of survival.
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน After two days in intensive care, Darcey was sent to a foster home where he is now on the road to recovery.
We are so grateful for our fosterers, who take in sick animals like Darcey and give them a second chance at life by providing the love and attention they need to heal physically and emotionally.

The fire at our large shelter was not man made, it was due to extreme dry weather and vegetation surrounding our facility. Big thanks to firefighters who came in less than 10 minutes from town, equipped with 2 cars and stopped it, preventing a tragedy from happening.
This poor girl was found by our fellow animal rescuer, Inessa, near a train station with both of her front legs severely injured and beyond use.
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน Inessa and her team worked tirelessly to save little Lena's life, and she is thankfully on the mend.
We are incredibly grateful to Galina, who has kindly been fostering Lena, providing her with the care, comfort, and love she needs during her recovery.
Soon, Lena will be travelling to Germany, where she will be adopted and given prosthetics to help her live as normally as possible!

A few weeks ago, In Korosten, Ukraine, Inessa came across a poor, innocent dog in need. She named him Sam. The dog's cheek was swollen, and it was clear that he was in pain. Concerned for Sam's well-being, Inessa rushed him to a nearby vet clinic for a thorough check-up. The veterinarians determined that Sam had been bitten by another dog, and they went into action, carefully cutting and cleaning Sam's injured cheek. They also provided him with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory treatment to alleviate his suffering.
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Inessa and the veterinarians, Sam's condition improved significantly. With each passing day, he regaines his strength and vitality.

With the help of donations from ROLDA supporters, they were able to make 22 trips to the combat zone and 6 trips across Ukraine this month, rescuing a total of 549 animals.

This was filmed on the front line, in Kharkiv region where the war continues. It was sent to us by Animal Rescue Kharkiv who are busy to evacuate animals which are left behind. We are supporting this group with repeated grants. The mom and puppies are inocent victims of the war, like so many other souls which suffer or died since February 2022. Unfortunately, we can't help everyone but we always tried to focus in areas where the support was vital: Kherson and now Kharkiv ...and we will continue to be helping #UkraineAnimals for as long as we can. The moment Aleksey pleaded for anti-mine gear, my world stood still โ the sheer absurdity of such a need in a mission to save abandoned souls sent a shiver through my core. One can understand how the Ukrainian situation changed for the worse not (only) by reading the news but also by observing how the Ukrainianโs requests to ROLDA changed over time. From asking for food to asking for medical equipment and then heavy anti-mines equipment, which will enable people to continue to go into war zones and rescue dogs and cats ... this is a dramatic change. This latest grant request for Aleksey was heartbreaking for me to fund. My heart cries for Ukraine and their animals. I hope that this nightmare will be over soon. When this poor dog was spotted injured and alone in the rubble, Robert went on a mission to save it. Caught in an explosion, the poor pup was hidden under the ruins of buildings devastated by war. This is the work we are doing in Ukraine, helping rescuers like Robert save dogs like this. ๐๐โค๏ธ
Irina is helping animals in Kherson but things don't look good there. The last videos she was sending are showing the nightmare these people live in for the past 2 years. News like this have nothing to do with Christmas and bring sadness in our hearts.

Why you help ROLDA? Because together, we help animals that have noone else. Irina is helping homeless animals from Zaporozhye region, including this paralyzed dog. You would think that its already too much for a homeless dog to be paralyzed living in this cruel World. But war came, and thanks to Irina, he continue to live for another year ...until few days ago, when he was killed during shelling. You can say a lot, or maybe say nothing ...but its important what we do and not just what we say ...and together, we can change the World for as many animals as we can, no matter how many tears we leave behind. For this poor paralyzed dog the nightmare is over. How many more we can reach before its too late?!
