On Sunday evening Dad, Nathan McMurrin, passed away, just a couple months before his 90th birthday. (His 89th birthday is pictured here.) He and my mom moved from Davenport, Iowa to live with us in Usk a year ago in June. He was a skilled mechanic and craftsman, a man before his time, calling out the evils of wheat, corn, corn-fed beef and dairy long before it was popular, as many of our cousins remind us. They were delighted by his poems on nutrition, his children, not so much! 😁 He was a pilot, a teacher, a musician, and a horticulturalist. He gathered the walnuts and "helicopters" (Maple seeds) from Algona and Chariton Iowa which would grow to towering trees on the rural Davenport property he and his wife, Carolyn McMurrin left a year ago. ❤️ Thank you Dad, for all you gave to us!

Rosebud had her babies!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁‼️‼️‼️ Tuesday, July 21st, at about 4:45 pm, Rosebud had her first of six babies. We are so proud of our first time mama! We will share more soon, but we wanted to announce the anticipated delivery (ies)!

Rosebud has loved to work with the sheep since she was 6 months old. She is both very responsive to commands and able to figure it out on her own. She has not been to trials, but demonstrates outstanding skill.
