Working with Rocky in the hardware store. Lots of new distractions. Definitely a few things to work on!

In today's video, we're working with Rocky on the "place" command. Our focus is on teaching him to go to his designated spot from a distance. We'll begin with a long line to establish the command and gradually introduce the e-collar to reinforce the behavior.

It's important to note that right now, we're not concentrating on duration Rocky doesn't need to lay down on the cot just yet. Our goal is simply to ensure he understands how to go to the cot when asked.

In this video, we are introducing Max, our lovable Dachshund, as he works on mastering the heel command. One of Max's biggest challenges is going for walks; he often prefers to lay down and play dead instead of enjoying his outdoor adventures. Today marks a significant milestone in his training, and we couldn't be more proud of his progress!

In this video, we're working with our Berna Doodle, Rocky, in an outdoor setting filled with distractions such as TVs, cars, other dogs, and people. To address his tendency to forge ahead during walks, we are utilizing the "bad dance" technique to help him learn to stay by our side. Rocky is making great progress, and we're excited to share his journey with you!

🐾 Training Session with Max the Dachshund! 🐾In today’s video, we’re addressing one of Max’s challenges: his tendency to play dead when he doesn’t want to walk. While it’s certainly a comical sight, it can be quite frustrating for his family when they’re trying to exercise him or take him to family events. To help Max overcome this behavior, we introduced an E-collar along with a belly band. This combination is designed to communicate to him that laying down and refusing to walk is not an option during our 2-minute walk sessions. Stay tuned as we work together to get Max moving and enjoying his walks!

🌟 Training Update with Rocky the Bernedoodle! 🌟In today’s session, we are focusing on the duration sit command with Rocky. To enhance his training, we are incorporating various distractions, including walking in circles around him in both directions. This exercise is designed to help Rocky grasp the concept of maintaining a sit position, even amidst movement and distractions. Stay tuned to see his progress and the techniques we're using to reinforce his training! 🐾✨

This is one of the ways that we teach a dog to sit!

In today's session, we worked with Max, the Dachshund, as we continue to explore what motivates him. It's clear that he has a strong affinity for the ball, which we incorporated towards the end of the session to make training more enjoyable. We began with food luring, but Max wasn't particularly interested in the treats, which is completely fine. We then shifted our focus to leash work before concluding with the ball as a reward. This experience highlights the importance of understanding each dog's unique personality and preferences. Collaborating with professional dog trainers provides a diverse set of tools to effectively engage with each individual dog, and Max is a perfect example of this. He will require a creative approach to training, and we are excited to take on this challenge. While it may be a bit more demanding for a small dog like Max, it's rewarding to see him end the session happy and more engaged.

In today's session, we focused on a long line exercise with Rocky, the Bernedoodle. We introduced an e-collar while he walked around, not to use it actively, but to familiarize him with the sensation. This drill, which we refer to as "Come Go With Me," aims to encourage Rocky to stay close and pay attention to our movements. This foundational work will ease our future training sessions on the long line in public settings, allowing us to gradually introduce him to various distractions. Building this awareness will be essential for his heel work in the outside world.

Today’s training session featured Max, the long-haired Dachshund, who is off to a fantastic start. We focused on food luring and practiced commands such as heel, sit, and place. Additionally, we utilized the leash to help shape and reinforce these behaviors effectively. Max is showing great promise, and we’re excited to continue his training journey.

Today, Rocky the Bernedoodle exhibited a remarkable improvement in both relaxation and focus during our training session on the klimb boards. We concentrated on his heel placement and sit commands, and I am pleased to report that he made significant progress. This young dog is just beginning his training journey, and his joyful demeanor makes him an absolute delight to work with. We are eager to see how far we can take him in his training.
