Our son entered his very first rodeo today. I’ve shown horses competitively (AQHA all around) for years and Josh is a bull rider, so he’s been around shows and rodeos his whole life but has never wanted to enter until now. We didn’t set any speed records (his pony has little legs 😜) but he had a blast. If you’ve got little ones interested in rodeo, the Silver Creek Equestrian Center Youth Rodeo series is the place to be! The 0-5 division has several fun classes that don’t require a horse. It’s very family oriented and beginner friendly!

Come learn the basics of handling cows on horseback or introduce your horse to cows using our friendly pair! All ages and skill levels welcome. Josh can also help with behavioral issues, confidence building, and general riding lessons. Don’t have a horse but want to try it out? We might have a horse you can use. Located in Utica. $30 per lesson. If you’d rather stay home, Josh will come to you for an additional fee. Call 601-382-3406 to schedule.
