Andy was found alone, dangerously cold, dehydrated and starving on a trail by someone walking their dog. It wasn't an area he would likely have reached by himself, so it's believed he was dumped. Nobody has come forward to claim him.

He is estimated to be 8-10 weeks old and believed to be a pit mix.
He gets along with cats and other dogs. He's a cuddly and playful boy.

Appointments to meet him will be scheduled for those who apply to adopt him. Pet ownership experience preferred. For info on meeting and adopting, please see WACshelter.com

UPDATE: Gloria went to a foster home but unfortunately it was not a good fit. She exhibited unprovoked reactivity/aggression towards an unfamiliar person. Due to both her medical status and this new behavior information, Gloria is timestamped for Sunday 9/24 at 10am and is available for rescue placement only. Please email all rescue inquires to [email protected]
Gloria is a sweet senior lady who was unfortunately abandoned and found her way to our facility. She has an ulcerated mass from her abdomen that needs to be removed. We believe Gloria would prefer a quieter home so she can live out her golden years. She was dog tested at our facility and we believe it is in her best interest to go into a home with no other dogs. Unfortunately, due to her age, current medical status, and her need for a dog free household, we think Gloria will not get the attention she deserves. We are seeking rescue placement for Gloria, but we will also entertain a foster or adopter home with no other animals. Please email [email protected] if you can help Gloria!
