Barefoot Hoof Trimming

I also offer barefoot horse care advice, because the diet, environment, exercise, etc affect the hoof and the rest of the horse. I treat every horse with kindness, love, patience, and respect. I take the time to greet/introduce myself to the horse, and I provide breaks during trimming to make the process pleasant and comfortable. de by them (ie, prefers not to lift leg very high, likes hind hooves trimmed first, feels safer near a buddy, etc). I do not use a "cookie cutter" trim, as each individual hoof is different and I address it as such. I try to trim the hoof the way it "wants" to be trimmed at each particular time. I love horses, I enjoy working on hooves, and watching them (horses and hooves) improve over time. The barefoot hoof is fascinating, and there is always something new to learn with each and every horse!
