My SDiT(Service Dog in Training) Nova. Some updated pictures of her at the beach. She’s gotten so big now. The trainer I’m working with said her personality is: She’s a goofy girl and likes to play and she absolutely loves going hiking and learning new tricks. She listens very well and is learning to do retrieval tasks and has fun bringing shoes back to her puppy raiser. She’s mastered public access and just needs to mature a little bit more before fully transitioning into task work. It sounds like her progress is going so well. She’s set to start in depth task training 2-3 months from now. She loves the beach, swimming, hiking, playing fetch, and overall being outdoors.

Sitting in line at Costco gas station after getting off at Tails of the City Dog Salon. I was getting more experience using my clippers with holding, cutting with the way the hair grows so it looks natural when I am cutting. I filed the nails of 1 dog. I was learning how to use my clippers to get the hair out of the paw pads. I did paw pads on one dog. I also learned how to call a client to tell them their dog is ready for pick up. I learned how to book an appointment with a client on our app we use. I booked one of my dog sitting clients for a grooming appointment.

I know yesterday I said my new rates would be $45 and $60 but I think that should be for new people only and for current clients I am upping it from $30 to $35. Just $5 more. I know some people can’t afford higher rates so I am offering high and low depending on what is affordable to my clients.

Posey is a huge cuddler. I put her favorite pillow on me and she came over to lay on me. She seems so relaxed. She’ll lift her head if I stop petting or giving scratches.

I have happy hoodies on my girls Rosie and Daisy. Rosie is in the purple happy hoodie and Daisy in the pink one. Rosie is panting. She’s anxious. Daisy has been panting at one point too. Rosie has been resting her head in my hand. I think resting her head in my hand is because she feels safe and trusts me to do so.

I am halfway done with completing the Pet Grooming Program with Animal Behavior College ABC. I completed stage tests for stage 8 and Pet First Aid and CPR last night and today I did stage 9 today test today and today I finished my using my shears portion of my stage 8 homework. I used my shears on my dog Rosie here. It doesn’t have to look professional. I just had to show an attempt at using my shears. I am so excited to be starting my externship soon!!

I’m dog sitting these two from Friday August 5, 2022-Thursday August 25, 2022. Hank and Holly. Holly is a Black Labrador Retriever and Hank is the brown dog. These two love playing fetch.

Watched these 2 Julep(in the back) and Rossi(in the front) for 6 days. They were so good. So cuddly and playful and sweet.

I’m with the Dalmatians Sparky and Smokey. It’s playtime with Smokey. I fed them and Sparky got his energy out with playing. She’s calmed down and is chewing on a toy peacefully. They are sweet dogs
