We were hoping to skip this week’s $5 Friday , but an unexpected ER visit for Jasmine and her cremation has left us with unforeseen costs and we need your help!!

This weekend, we’re transporting 14 dogs, including several shelter pups heading to fosters and three dogs going to their forever homes. Alongside this, we have several puppies with vet appointments, Jasper's neuter surgery, and our weekly boarding bill of $525.

Here’s the good news: Miss Kelly has generously offered to match all donations today! We aim to raise $1,000, which will equal $2000 and will carry us through this week and help us prepare for the holiday week

In shadows cast by pain and strife,
A gentle giant entered my life.
With soulful eyes that spoke of grace,
She found a haven, a warm embrace.

From neglect's grip, she broke away,
A spirit longing for brighter days.
Each wagging tail, each soft, sweet sigh,
She soaked up love, as time slipped by.

In fleeting moments, our hearts entwined,
A bond so pure, so rare to find.
Though her journey was brief, a precious gift,
In every heartbeat, she caused my soul to lift.

But fate can be cruel, and time can be swift,
And suddenly, she took her last breath
Now I hold memories, both tender and true,
Of a special Dane, who taught me to view,

The beauty in love, the strength in the fight,
Even in darkness, there’s always a light.
Though she’s gone, her spirit remains,
In the echoes of laughter, in the joy and the pains.

So here’s to the moments, both fleeting and dear,
To the love we shared, forever sincere.
Though our time was short, I’ll cherish each day,
For that sweet Great Dane, who showed me the way.

🌈 Jasmine took her last breath this morning 🌈

I want to take a moment to honor a truly special great Dane who came into my life when I needed it the most albeit for a brief time. Jazzy as we liked to call her arrived from a past filled with neglect and abuse, but despite her struggles, her spirit was remarkable.

In the short time we had together, she soaked up all the love I could give. Each wag of her tail and every gentle nuzzle and sigh reminded me of the resilience and strength that can exist in even the toughest of circumstances.

Unfortunately, she passed away suddenly this morning leaving a huge void in my heart and the hearts of those who had been following her story. Though our time together was fleeting, the love she shared was profound. I will forever cherish the moments we had and the lessons she taught me about compassion, love hope and forgiveness.

Rest in peace, sweet girl. You are loved deeply, and you will always be remembered. 🐾❤️

🌟 Urgent Update: 🌟

Jasmine was recently spayed and had a hernia repair, and we brought her home and got her settled in. Unfortunately, something happened during the night, and she is now struggling to breathe. We’ve loaded her into the car and are on our way to the ER clinic.

I’m asking for all the well wishes and prayers you can send our way. I love this sweet girl so much, and my heart is breaking right now. Thank you for your support. 💔🐾

🚨 **Urgent Foster Appeal for Mastiff Mix Pups!** 🚨

We had temporarily closed our intakes, but we can’t turn our backs on these sweet pups in need. Since we've had some recent adoptions and a few pups that were in our list go to another rescue we have a little room. We are now looking to help 12 adorable Mastiff mix pups currently in Show Low, AZ.

These little ones were born on August 9, and while their mom is a Mastiff, the dad is unknown—just a “big dog” from the neighborhood, according to their owner. The good news? Mom was spayed today and will stay with her owner.

🐾 **We Need Your Help!**
We’re looking for at least **Six fosters** who can each take **two pups**. Whether you’re in Phoenix or Tucson, your support can make a world of difference for these little ones.

A friend contacted me this morning about this sweet boy who has been hanging around the Everton city hall! He appears to be around a year old and very friendly. He has quite a few ticks so we gave him Bravecto this morning. We are looking for a foster to hold him while we try and locate his family. He's a little thin but overall appears to be healthy.
