We strive to match healthy, beautiful, and loving golden retriever puppies with their forever families! We are located in Valdosta, GA and Lee, FL!
My name is Ashlyn Carter and I, along with my mother, Heather Welch, breed Golden Retrievers. We are responsible breeders of AKC registered dogs. Our Jumping Gully Goldens are located in Valdosta, Ga and Lee, FL both on the FL/GA line. We have three breeding females. Layla (a dark golden) and Bailey (a light golden) live with my mom, Heather, in rural Madison County, FL, and Ruby (a dark golden)
lives in a rural part of Lowndes County, GA with my family. I have two males, Ryder (a light golden), and Red (a dark golden). Fun fact, Ryder is Red’s daddy! Our Golden Retrievers are raised on our large property and get lots of love and attention. Ryder (6 years old) is a tall, 90 pound light golden male. He has the softest fur and is so handsome. He loves to run on our property as we drive on the golf cart. He loves swimming in the pond, people, and is so sweet. Layla (2 years old) is a 55 pound darker golden female. Her coat is beautiful! She is also very sweet and loves to lay on the couch with her head in your lap. Bailey ( 3 years old), is a really light golden girl. She's our big girl, probably around 80 pounds! She loves swimming, playing with the other dogs, and would love to sit on your lap all day! She is the best mom! Red has gorgeous eyes and a beautiful coat. He isn't as tall as Ryder, but he is stockier. He's about 85 lbs. Ruby (2 years old) is a dark golden girl and is about 65 lbs. She has such a sweet face and also has a beautiful coat. All of the dogs like to swim and enjoy time in our swimming pool after those long runs. Our family used to be a host family for a breeding female for Southeastern Guide Dogs near Palmetto, FL. Healy, a black Labrador Retriever, had several litters of puppies during her time with us. She was bred at the facility, but we had the honor of whelping the puppies at our home and then taking them down to Southeastern when they were 6 weeks old to go to puppy raisers and eventually to be trained as guide dogs. After she was retired, she was allowed to live the rest of her life with us on our farm. That time raising puppies taught us how to prepare for the birth and to take care of both the mom and puppies until they were ready to go back to the school. After Healy retired, we decided that we would like to raise Golden Retrievers. Sawyer and Macy were our first AKC Goldens. Once they grew up, they had several litters and we enjoyed meeting each family that came to pick up their new puppy. We are still in touch with a few of these puppy owners from over 10 years ago. Our location near Valdosta, GA (in Lowndes County) is about 10 minutes south of I-75 (exit 11) and our Lee, FL (in Madison County) location is located about 2.5 miles north of I-10, exit 262 (between Tallahassee and Jacksonville) and is about 12 miles south of I-75 (Jennings- Exit 467). Bailey and Ryder’s first litter in 2020!! Her puppies are always so huge!!! Probably because she lets them nurse until they go home.🥹 Such a sweet mom! My mom can barely hold these two up! 😂

REMI, she’s the newest and youngest member!! She turned 6 months this week and wow, she sure is showing off her puppy stage 🙃..lots of chewing going on at our house! She’s so playful and likes to play chase and ride the golf cart! She is going to be a BIG girl! She weight 56 lbs already! 😅 She loves belly rubs and all the treats! Of course she chose to pose in front of the w**d lol. She is such a sweet girl!

LAYLA, she is new to the family! My mom adopted her this summer after a sweet family felt like they couldn’t give her the attention she needed! She has adjusted well on the farm, enjoys the other girls, but also likes her space! 😂 She’s a tiny little thing but has lots of s***k! 💗💗

RED, everyone meet big Red!!! He’s a gentle giant and actually a bit of a scaredy cat! 😂 He is Ryder’s son and they favor in so many ways! He lives in GA with my family and also enjoys golf cart runs and swimming in the pond! He will be celebrating his 2nd birthday this January! He is very stocky but not as tall as Ryder and weighs about 85lbs! He has the most beautiful golden eyes I’ve ever seen! He is one special boy!! 💙💙

RUBY, my precious Ruby Q!! Ruby lives at my house in GA and enjoys running with the golf cart and swimming in the pond! She also loves to sneak in and spend the night inside! She was born in December 2021 so she just celebrated a birthday and is now 2! She had her first litter of pups this summer and she was a wonderful mom! She is probably our sweetest golden and LOVES all the snuggles but she’s also fierce and isn’t scared of a thing! She loves to hunt and guard the house but welcomes everyone with a wag and kisses! 💗💗

BAILEY, we couldn’t of searched for a better mama!! Bailey lives in Lee on the farm and LOVES being a mama! She would have a litter of pups every time she came in heat if we let her! She tends to her babies until the day they go to their new homes! 🥹 She is huge for a female and weighs around 80-85 lbs! She’s the happiest girl there is and loves to be pampered! My mom got her when she was 6 months old and she’s now 3 living her best life! 💗💗

BELLE, I always call her Miss Belle! 😘 My mom got her a year after I got Ryder so she is 5 years old! She had 3 beautiful litters of puppies and she and Ryder were really the start of JGG! However, Miss Belle DID NOT enjoy getting pregnant/being a mom so my mom had her spayed and she gets to just enjoy the farm life! She totally deserves a shoutout though! She loves Ryder so much and they always enjoy there time together! She loves running and swimming and gets lots of attention!💗💗

RYDER, the ring leader of the pack! My first baby before I had my boys! 🥹 Ryder has been through every huge milestone…our engagement, wedding, building a house, both our precious boys! He’s a real trooper! His birthday is September 15, 2016 so he is 6 years old!! He is around 95lbs and extremely tall! He jumps out of every pen so he gets to either stay inside or he comes with us everywhere! It’s funny though, his name is Ryder but he really doesn’t enjoy car rides. 😂 My husband always says “you only get one good dog in your life and he’s it”! All my dogs hold a special place in my heart but Ryder holds many special places! He’s so sweet and loyal and our best buddy! 💙💙💙

Hey y’all and welcome to our Jumping Gully Golden page! 🐶🐶 We are finally getting around to creating an Instagram so we can share all of our beautiful goldens and golden puppies with each of you! We started JGG back in 2016 when I bought my beautiful male Golden Retriever, Ryder!! Since then we have added 6 more goldens to the family! 🤩🤩 Wow that’s a lot of dogs! 😅 Ryder, Red, Ruby, and Remi all live at my property in Valdosta, GA while Belle, Bailey, and Layla live at my moms/family farm in Lee, FL. I take my goldens back and forth to the farm all the time so all the dogs get to see each other and play! Our puppies are raised on lots of land and are around small children from the start! My mom and I really enjoy raising golden retriever puppies together and love seeing how excited each family gets when they pick out their precious new family member! 🥹🥹
