HELLO FRIENDS
The fact that you are reading this notice indicates that you are one of our treasured clients here at Paradise Ridge Pet Clinic. We are sad to say that our hospital is closed indefinitely, however, we are very happy that Dr. Newcomb and her staff are finally able to take some much-needed time off after working diligently throughout the past 2 years of the COVID pandemic.
Dr. Newcomb has owned this veterinary clinic for 22 years. You have watched her kids grow up in the hospital and she will finally be embarking on a new life chapter in retirement and excitedly continuing to check off the boxes on her extensive Bucket List! (Yes, she really is of retirement age but don’t tell her you know!) You might spot her kayaking, sailing San Diego Bay, hiking, or maybe heading back to Uganda to work in rabies prevention again when the time is right.
Our get ‘er done RVT Trina, who has been serving our clients for 9 years, will be adventuring on horseback throughout multiple states and spending her new free time with family, caring for her own menagerie of critters and organizing countless other entities which she excels at doing. You may see her around Valley Center deeply involved with the Valley Center Stampede Rodeo.
Our much-loved certified Veterinary Assistant Yadira (who has cared for your pets here for 6 years) will take advantage of the extra hours in her life to relax with family, continue her volunteer work, and spend some special bonding time with her own pets.
We will post any further announcements on our page, and on our website and if there is a need to contact us you can use our email [email protected]. We will NOT be able to provide any medical services or answer specific medical questions through our email.
We were so grateful to each of you when you accepted our invitation to be part of the Paradise Ridge family as far back as December of 2000 and allowed us to be part of your family as well. Our hearts will miss every one of you and we will always have warm memories of the times we laughed, cried, and bantered together, shared parent stories and kid achievements, and at the same time got some good veterinary preventive medicine in as well. We love you all. Thank you so much. With Warmest Regards, The Paradise Ridge Pet Clinic Team
