Ember
Meet Ember, an 8-9 month old Belgian Malinois. This little girl possesses abundant energetic enthusiasm. She has demonstrated exceptional progress at The Wild Pack! While addressing certain insecurities together, Ember exhibits great potential. She thrives on approval and praise motivation, complemented by robust food and toy drives.
Ember is undergoing training for house, potty, and crate training, as well as targeted socialization to overcome insecurities related to new people. Her rapport with children and other dogs is outstanding. I am eager to discover her full potential.

Hermione Adoptable Program
The Wild Pack Adoptable Canine Program:
Meet Hermione, a three-year-old German Shepherd in search of her perfect forever home. With a striking appearance and a gentle demeanor, Hermione is not only up to date on all her vaccinations but is also spayed, making her a well-prepared companion.
This intelligent pup is both house and crate trained, showcasing her ability to adapt well to home life. She has proven herself to be remarkably well-behaved when left alone for several hours, handling her freedom with maturity and grace.
Hermione is a loyal guardian, deeply protective of her home and family. She has a keen sense for her surroundings and will alert you to any unfamiliar noises—making her an excellent watchdog. Raised around children since she was a puppy, Hermione thrives in their company and enjoys playful interactions, making her a wonderful addition to a family with kids.
However, it’s important to note that Hermione prefers a pet-free home. She has been tested around other dogs and cats and unfortunately does not get along with them, showing stress in those situations.
On the brighter side, Hermione loves car rides and is always up for adventures, whether that involves long walks or hiking in the great outdoors. While she can feel anxious during vet visits, her best comfort comes from having her owners by her side. She has been boarded in the past and adjusted well, especially when provided with one-on-one attention, which she adores.
Pros:
✅ Crate Trained
✅ Kid & People Friendly
✅ Perfect Travel Companion
✅ Eager to learn
✅ Has a fantastic food drive for training
Cons:
❌ Must be the only pet
❌ Still learning basic and advanced obedience
Here at The Wild Pack I ask that all adoptions be completed in person. With that being said The Wild Pack does not offer transport of any dog adopted. Meet and greets are required prior to adoptions to ensure the adopter and dog is the best match for each other. All adoptable dogs have ado
Cultivating an exceptionally obedient dog demands thorough training and a deliberate approach. Structure and consistency are foundational elements, complemented by additional crucial factors, to successfully attain this standard. Additionally, obedience training effectively mitigates the risk of accidents commonly experienced by dog owners.
Boundary training with thresholds is essential for dog owners to prevent accidents, such as pets escaping and being hit by cars. In conjunction with basic and advanced obedience commands, threshold training is vital for ensuring the safety and well-being of canine companions.
The following video showcases Zulu, a three-year-old Doberman, exemplifying essential boundaries. Establishing such boundaries can initially present challenges, particularly if your dog is accustomed to bolting out the door upon opening. However, this training provides significant benefits for ensuring your pet's safety.

Murphy’s Progress
When Murphy initially joined The Wild Pack as a full-time member, he was overweight, lacked leash etiquette, and required extensive training. However, through dedication and commitment, he has transformed into one of the most well-behaved dogs I could ask for. Unfortunately, many people acquire a dog but are unwilling to invest the necessary time to achieve their desired outcomes. The bottom line is that putting in the effort is crucial to attaining your goals.

When Beretta first joined The Wild Pack she had no natural off switch for her prey drive. Today she can perfectly off leash and exist peacefully with any animal she meets. The growth this girl has made with always make me so proud! #thewildpackrescueandtraining #rescueandtrain #thewildpack #k9training #rescuedogs #k9handler #belgianmalinois
This girls transformation is incredible! She's gone from being severely reactive to livestock and other animals with no natural off switch to now being off leash and unmuzzled confidently and calmly around other animals.
There’s never a bad time to just take a second and breathe. There’s a lot that goes into dog training and being able to decompress in any environment is part of it. Watching a once reactive dog calmly exist is one of the most amazing things to witness. So proud of Beretta (Malinois closest to the fence). She shows more and more progress as time goes by! #thewildpackrescueandtraining #obediencetrainingwithresults #rescueandtrain #RescueAndRehabilitation #thewildpack #k9training #adoptedandloved #adoptionjourney
Everyone meet Stormi! Stormi is a three year old Aussie Doodle mix that has been apart of my training program the last few weeks. This is one intelligent girl and never fails to impress myself and her mom. Stormi has a very big training session this week and will be doing public access training for the first time this week! Her progress is amazing and I can’t wait to show her mom just what all she can do! I’m very proud of you sweet girl and I can’t wait for your big day!
Stormis Progress
This sweet angel has been doing training with me for several weeks. Today we did place work, boundary work, as well as some desensitization work with her new training vest. Our sessions are usually around an hour long and we only worked with the vest for 20 minutes or so and just watch her progress from being scared to beginning to love it! Working with this girl is an absolute blast. Her owner is fantastic and has been doing wonderful things with her and keeping up to her training schedule. Way to go Stormi! Your momma and I are so very proud of your hard work and amazing progress!
I got the honor of working with some shelter dogs at DeKalb County Animal Adoption Center in fort Payne Alabama today. I will post some pictures of the rest I worked with along with videos later but I specifically want to shed some light on this love bug. Her name is June. She’s been in the shelter since December. When I first arrived June was closed off and very nervous. Within minutes she was catching onto commands and walking amazingly on a leash. She’s a pitbull mix around 2/3 years old. She is so very intelligent and has the sweetest demeanor. She among the others was an absolute honor to work with and I will definitely be posting more and working with them more. If you’re considering a new family pet people open your heart to this sweet girl as she deserves a loving forever home.
