I've known this pup since they were born. This is the brother to my foster Babs, whom you all know I adored. He needs a home with other animals his size. He's GREAT with kids. He's been in training as a therapy dog and has always been very chill. I will offer discounted services to an adopter in the area for the first three months of adjustment. He is located in St Charles. He's a 9 month old pitbull terrier mix who is already neutered and current on medical care. GREAT starter dog!

A HUGE part of my heart broke when I got news that our biggest Angel crossed the rainbow bridge unexpectedly. He was the biggest chicken-dog, slobbery snuggle-bug, and fiercest protector. I will miss our walks where I felt like I was walking royalty. He wasn't a dog that could be ignored. His mere presence demanded attention, even though he would prefer to be invisible. We grew as a team and were able to navigate crowds with ease. I am truly going to miss him. Rest easy, big guy!

We offer chauffeur services to and from appointments, daycare, and anywhere else! $15 pickup fee with $1/mile to destination. Pets are secured. Warning: driver THINKS they can sing, but based on some faces, they can not.

HELP! PLEASE!
Sweet Pea was living with her owner in senior housing. Her owner has moved on, but she remains. The family is unwilling to take her or assist in placement, and she can not stay in her home alone. The staff, as well as others, are desperately trying to find her a home. With the shelter/rescue situation as it is, there aren't options available for her. Very little information is available on her. She's an adult female long-haired torti. She lives as an only cat, so I am unsure if she is able to live with other animals. She is becoming VERY stressed being on her own. Please share or consider helping her out. Her situation is becoming desperate.

Let's talk BLOAT! Recently, this impacted one of our Angels. Luckily, the parents were proactive, and he'll recover uneventfully, but my, what a scary time! I've attached an article to fully understand GDV or the flipping of the stomach. Although most commonly found in large breed dogs, it can happen to any size. If caught early, surgery is curative. Some dogs will actually undergo a stomach "tack" when neutering to help prevent it. You are your pets ONLY advocate and know them better than anyone else. If you suspect something is wrong, have it checked. Don't wait! There are ER centers all over the area for after-hours care. Waiting until their vet opened would have likely resulted in the fatality of this otherwise young and healthy dog.

Good Morning!
Found this little dude on the garage floor this morning! Thought he was deceased but opens his mouth when moved. Called local wildlife rehabber (KARE) who gave us a number to call. That number gave us a website to explore. I did find a rehabber 70+ miles away (IN) that can take him by 3p. Unfortunately, none of our schedules allow that today. I'm reaching out to see if anyone knows anyone who knows someone... We want to help it, even if it's to end suffering. Damn responsibilities!! Anyone up for a day adventure to Valparaiso, IN? Only a 2 hour drive?

NO! We haven't touched him with bare hands, which we know could be very bad for us.

Mushrooms are super cool to look at but incredibly poisonous to our Angels! Please scan their areas & keep a close watch on walks. Even a lick or tiny taste can make them ill or worse, die. The weather has been ideal for their growth. BE SAFE!!
