It’s tough to see our beloved pets go through challenging times, and our sweet Blue recently experienced a bout of snow blindness during our latest snowfall—something we don’t typically encounter. Fortunately, she’s on the path to recovery after a visit to the vet.

Her caring parents took the extra step to get her a pair of sporty goggles to help prevent this in the future. They shared how she’s usually a cozy couch potato, but the enchanting snow gave her an extra dose of Zoomies that was a site to behold.

We also want to remind everyone that dogs can be at risk for frostbite too. If your furry friend isn’t keen on shoes, we offer soothing paw and nose balms to help keep them comfortable.

We’re really glad you’re feeling better, Blue! Come back and shower us with more of those sweet puppy kisses soon! 💖🐾

Think lick mats, soothing calming butter, and a variety of nail trimmers—fun and handy all in one! Plus, simply playing with your pet's feet every now and then can really help them feel more comfortable. Remember to give them little breaks during the “process” to keep things happy!

And here's some exciting news: our Christmas sale ends TODAY! It's a perfect chance to get a head start on your Christmas shopping for 2025.

Taking care of your pet’s nails is important for their health too! Long nails can cause discomfort by putting pressure on the sensitive areas of their paws with each step. They may even shift their walking posture to compensate, which could stress their joints and lead to arthritis down the line—especially for our older pups.

Not to mention, overgrown nails can impact your dog’s balance, making running and playing less enjoyable. Plus, there’s a risk of injury with long nails; they can crack, split, or break, leading to painful, open wounds that could become infected. In serious cases, nails that grow too long can curl under and dig into paw pads, causing significant pain and potential damage.

Let’s keep our furry friends happy and healthy with a joyful pawdicure routine!

A ginormous thank-you to Katrina Evans for doing so much for Lolly & Pups Pet Boutique! Katrina was the brains and the brawn behind the scenes of our very first Wags for Wishes event. We plan to make this an annual holiday fundraiser for Almost Home Shelter & Pawzatively Canine Shelter.
