In a couple weeks we will be headed to the Fond du Lac area to help owners access high-quality spay/neuter services at an affordable price. Our team will conveniently pick up your dog or cat from Critter Junction Pet Rescue and transport them to our clinic for their procedure, returning them to Fond du Lac later the same day. The world of rescue is so bittersweet...today I took five kitties to be spayed or neutered and came home with three. One little ball of crazy was adopted by one of the techs and I said goodbye to Miss Mindy, turned out she had some serious health issues and I made the decision to not let her suffer. I'm so happy to have the pleasure of having her since the 4th of July.

And that's how the world rescue works, we keep moving forward.

Tonight we received a message from a caring & concerned person that they found a carrier on the side of the road with some type of dish in it
I went to the area & found this....
PLEASE STOP DOING THIS
I can only assume you dumped your cat...why??
Please please reach out for help!!!
I know you left food in the kennel for it but a dumped animal doesn't always survive
I can't tell you how many people come to the country (even in town now) & dump their animals

It's a long shot but if anyone knows anything about the kennel or why it was along side Cemetery Rd pls let me know!
I did talk to the home owners across the street & unfortunately they didn't see this happen

Stray cat.
It has been a really busy season for all of us, and we continue to work together because helping each other where needed most is how things work best. This girl was brought in as a stray from Challenger Dr. Ashwood Grove Mobile Home Park. She is now working on what would have been her 3rd stray litter of kittens for this year. The actual stray hold is the Town of Friendship, but she needed a place to construct a suitable nest for her impending little brood of fluffy nuggets.
Thank you Lisa and Amanda for all the help you give us as well. She is quite obviously intact, no microchip, and 4 day stray holding at "Casa de" Critter Junction Pet Rescue.

WARNING...Here comes a vent!
Someone shared a picture similar to this one ( and thank you for sharing!) Some person who does not know me says " why are all three cats in that small kennel? That's awful!) Well ma'am if someone hadn't let their cat out to wonder and stretch her legs these kittens would probably not have been born! But I picked them up as strays, living in a farm field, they are very feral and I keep them safe, fed, clean untill they can get vetted & fixed, which I pay for and then I will try to find them a home! I will tell you what AWFUL is...it's awful to see all these homeless cats wandering, making more cats, getting diseases, getting hit by cars, getting picked up by birds of pray...that's awful! Maybe before you make your snide comment you should volunteer at a shelter,or donate to one or take in a few fosters! I work my a** off every single day at least 3 hrs am & pm to make sure they have food, water a clean box, I'm out of room for kennels, out of dishes and out of patience for people that see a picture and make a stupid comment!

We were up at 5:00 to catch the bus to spay/ neuterville, so that means these three siblings will be looking for work when they get back! They will take care of the rodent population in exchange for a warm safe place to live. They are feral so they won't be pests, constantly wanting to be pet. So not only will they fixed but they will have their rabies vaccine as well. Can anyone offer them a full time job? I am asking for a donation to help cover their vetting.

It is with a very heavy heart that I share the news that Reggie White has past away. I am forever greatful to the family that stepped up to give him a home where he was loved. He was lethargic last night, his family took him to Appleton where he crossed the rainbow bridge. 💔 I believe Reggie had some underlying health issue that we never found.😢 r.i.p Reggie

This adorable little calico baby is ( you guessed it) Callie! Callie is spayed, has her vaccines ( inc rabies) she has been wormed and now is ready for her own family. This little girl loves to play and loves her toys, she plays great with other kitties and dogs don't bother her either. Her adoption fee is $100.

I want to just take a moment of your time to say " Thank you" for all the support you have all given us over the years! This is not something we could do alone, so many people have asked how they can help and I'm not good at asking for help or even coming up with what we need, so I've been keeping notes... this is our wish list.

We have three absolutely adorable callico kitties comming up for adoption! They all look very similar, I'll work on better pictures of each one. And this adorable little orange kitty will be ready also. Then cute little Miss Callie was just spayed and she's ready for her very own home!

I have to say this...I have to just get it out! I say it from myself and I think I speak for every rescue, every shelter & anyone who takes in strays. I am full at the inn,I am tired beyond belief and I just cannot understand why all of a sudden everyone feels the need to give up their pets. I have heard every reason from we no longer have time for them to the sudden allergy to them ( after years of having them) I take in much more than I show, I don't judge anyone, I always try find a way to make it work. But I have to take a stand and just say " please, try to figure out a way to keep your pets!" They are dependent on you, you at some point wanted this pet and made it a part of your family. A kitty was adopted last week and was returned before 24 hrs were up, you know why? Because it meowed during the night! ( please never have children) I will try to find a great home for your pet, but adoptions are at an all time low right now. I worry myself crazy that these pets will end up dumped because nobody can take them. If it's food that is an issue, there are lots of resources our there, contact me or any rescue or shelter we can definitely help out! If it's vetting there is resources there, please do not give up on your family member, they are always there for you! I'm so sorry if I have offended anyone in any way, but it needs to be said! Let's find a way to keep your pet in your home.
If you may be thinking about getting a pet, please really give it some thought, plan for the future, look at the big picture...pets are a lifetime commitment.
If you truly decide you want a pet, please, please, please check the rescues and shelters or call me! We all have amazing pets that are patiently waiting for their forever family!❤️

This sweet 8 year old girl needs a new home, she is super sweet, loves to play with balls, but she hates being alone. Her dad works alot and she just is not handling being alone well. She is a very good girl, she just wants to be with her people. If you have any questions, I will get you in touch with her family.

Are you looking for a fun dog, one that loves to learn new things? Kai is definitely your guy, he is a 3 yr old Shiba inu/ Shepard mix. Kai is up to date on all vaccines & he's neutered & weighs approximately 37lbs. Kai does get along with dogs with proper introduction, he also lives with cats. His current family loves him very much, unfortunately Kai has developed some jealousy issues with the young child, so a home with older kids would be best. Kai would really love a new best friend who loves hikes, running,exploring and just living life to the fullest! At the end of the day...Kai also loves to snuggle under the blankets and be next to his person. As you know we've taken in quite a few animals lately which require vet checks, shots, getting fixed etc
Would we have any kiddo's interested in making pictures/drawings for donation jars??

2nd part to this..would we have any business's, shops, bars etc interested in putting our donation cans out?

Microchips greatly increase the chances that pets will be reunited with their families if they are lost or stolen…but a microchip only works if its registration information is accurate.

Please ask your veterinary office or local animal rescue/shelter to scan your pet to confirm the chip is still working and check the registry to verify your contact information is up-to-date at: www.petmicrochiplookup.org

🇺🇸 Today marks 9 years that Miss Lily is on American soil! I cannot say it has been an easy road but definitely worth the trip! Turkey is not the best place to be a street dog. I am very proud of her coming to the U.S and earning canine good citizen and becoming a therapy dog within a year! Enjoy retirement Lily. 🇺🇸 Sus Anne , Esra Gray
