To celebrate this milestone in their lives, Greta Lo Dachshunds is having a Birthday Party / Open house from12 noon to 6 pm. BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT July 7, 2023 Beautiful Boudicca had a litter of 5 healthy puppies. I'm calling this the 2023 Independence Day litter. Beauregard is the Sire of Puppy #1: Madison, female, Black and White Piebald, #2 Liberty, female, Black and Tan/Cream with brindle, #3 Star, female, Blue and Tan/Cream, #4 Abigail, female, Blue and Tan/Cream and #4 Independence (Indie), the only boy. Currently Indie appears to be red. As the puppies grow their colors will become more defined and easier to identify. Pictures and video to follow very soon. Here is a new family portrait. Ollie has a new name: Unicorn of the Night. He was named by his big sister. She also gave him the nickname Slushy. Welcome to the Greta Lo Doxie Pack.
Someone out there is very lucky. Longhaired miniature chocolate shaded cream dachshund puppy is now available. Gus is an energetic happy puppy. He is very active. He loves to cuddle and play. He would be very happy in a family with children who can keep him busy.

We have wonderful news to share. Ollie has found his first and forever home with a lovely family in Oregon.
Welcome Roxsanne, a new member of the GretaLo Cuddlers Crew. GretaLo Dachshunds has started a Puppy Cuddlers Crew. Puppy Cuddlers are dog lovers who volunteer their time to play with GretaLo Dachshunds puppies. Crew members learn about the need for socialization of puppies, sensory enrichment program and more. A training program is being developed. Crew members are eligible for free enrollment and training. Cuddler Crew members are screened. Special infection control measures are strictly enforced.
All GretaLo Dachshunds puppies begin a Sensory Enrichment Program that new owners can continue at home. Roxsanne, a new member of the GretaLo Cuddlers Crew, introduces Gus to a new scent: cinnamon.
What to do for teething puppies? Try carrots. Carrots have the desired firmness, but they are also gentle on sore puppy gums. Carrots are low calorie and are good sources of fiber, nutrients and vitamins. They taste good too.
