Please enjoy this little video I put together of my first fantasy session I like to call "When Little Red Riding Hood Tamed the Wolves".

I wanted to do something like a little Red Riding Hood theme. I got creative with my editing in a few images, which was a lot of fun to put together and went with a darker cinematic toning on the images. I'm really loving how this turned out and hope you enjoy! 🥰

It was a lovely afternoon up on Mount Hood at one of his favorite trails and it was such a pleasure meeting this sweet little man and working with him and his family. Many great memories were made on this beautiful fall day and I am so grateful to have been there to help make it happen. 🥰🥹

I forgot to share with everyone the winners of the costume contest!!! I sent them off to everyone with their galleries but didn't get to announce them here yet! OOPS!

In first place by a landslide is Tayo & Jane with the Wizard of Oz!! Rightfully so, the dorothy costume was handmade by Jane's grandma, it was beautiful!! Such a fun and creative family! Congratulations!!

In 2nd place is Beetlejuice!!! Jeanne, Nalu and Watson absolutely killed it with their outfits and I'm in love with Nalu's little jagged Lydia bang's! SO cute!!

3rd place was awards to a handful of pawrents and pups who all had a VERY close number of votes and it was so close, I couldn't decide who to go with so we are giving all these contestants the 3rd place award! :) Nimue, Rosie & Sierra, Leia & Charlie, Trigger & Stella, Theo & Maggie!

I have been wanting to do some fun fantasy sessions with people and finally got to do my very first one with Lexi and her two amazing boys Oso and Lobo. This is Lobo featured in this image, but it was such an incredibly fun morning. We were going for a Red Riding Hood kinda theme... I have way too many images to go through for sessions before I can dive more into these, but I'm absolutely loving how they are turning out so far!!

They are not just a pet.
They are the sunshine itself.
They are the song your soul sings.
They are a vibration of goodness in this world of chaos.
They are your comfort, your blanket, your pillow.
You never know what pieces of your puzzle are missing until you find such a love in your life.
To anyone who ever says "they are just a pet" - do not get angry or defensive - do not argue or debate - the real truth behind that statement is simply that they have unfortunately never known the depth of love and companionship that you have been blessed with.
When you love a dog, when you truly love a dog, there is not a doubt your two souls are of and meant for each other.
And no matter what, they will Forever and Always be a part of you.
I do not agree with calling them "End of Life" sessions....
For me, there is no end to a love this deep.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Obi Wonton Kenobi earlier this week and a more lively, adorable, absolutely precious little boy cannot be found in this whole wide world. Clearly, he has the best ears, no competition there, and that little smile is completely filled to the brim with millions of tiny kisses. What can I say? I'm a huge fan. 😁🐾👍🥰

Banshee isn't much for giving shake, but she sure loves jumping for treats!!

Fall really is my most favorite season of the year... the colors right now are outstanding!

Between now and December I have over 40 sessions, so I likely will not be as active socially as I'd like to be, but please know I'm still here, drowning in beautiful pup photos and catching up on the latest podcast craze.

Also, I have some things bubbling in the back burning at the moment and unsure of the eventual outcome so I won't share yet, but SHOULD things work out the way I am actively manifesting for them to, I hope to have some VERY exciting news for everyone come 2025...

For now, my lips are sealed, but the intention is in action and its just a matter of time. More to come as soon but this will be a HUGE game changer for myself and for all of my clients!!!

If you believe in prayer or the positive results of sending good energy, I would sure appreciate everyone's love right now!! With fingers cross... and bean toes in the air... surrounded by gorgeous falling leaves 🥰❤

A few more sneak peaks of Aksel's session last week. It was a very overcast morning, but comfortable, around 60 and the sunrise placed a pink glow in the sky that temporarily blanketed the morning in light yellow and magenta hues against the blue light of dawn. A faint fog hovered over the lake and we were the only ones there. Such wonderful memories of such a peaceful morning. ❤🐾

We had so many amazing costumes this year at Pumpkin Puppies... I'm always impressed with the people who hand make their costumes and the owners who get involved in their pets session.

HOW TO VOTE:

1) Click on the heart icon on any image (you will need to enter an email to secure and save the vote, however none of these emails will be used in any way for any purpose other than voting - I will be deleting the gallery once done)

2) You can only vote 1 time per dog, but you can vote for multiple dogs, so if you can't decide, you don't have to!

A HUGE thank you to James and Polly at for allowing us all to return year after year, highlighting their incredible variety of beautiful pumpkins and gourds! This weekend was such a wonderful time filled with so many beautiful moments and memories. It is always so special for me to see everyone, especially all the people who have come for so many years. I had several people over the weekend tell me that Pumpkin Puppies is one of their most favorite events of the year, which still humbles me and warms my heart so much. 🥹

Pumpkin Puppies is easily one of the things I'm so very proud of in my career... Creating and hosting an event that brings so many wonderful people and their puppies together, having fun and doing something as simple as taking some halloween photos in a pumpkin patch, it sounds so simple, but to witness the unbridled creativity, enthusiasm, joy, excitement, happiness, smiles and love this one simple event generates year after year is really so incredibly unique, special and something that could never exist without each one of you being apart of it. If you know, you know... there is something truly magical about Pumpkin Puppies.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out. I will be working on the images this week and getting the photos together for the Costume Contest ASAP for everyone to place their votes! I aim to have all the final galleries ready and shared to everyone by Halloween (fingers crossed!!)

Wishing you all a fantastic evening and thank you all so much for making my weekend one of the best weekends of my life, warming my heart and confirming to me that I truly do have the greatest clients on earth. I love you all and am so lucky to know each and every one of you. ❤

Smooches for Pooches

Happy Valentine's Day! ❤ Please enjoy a quick little slideshow featuring 1 picture from every pup who showed up to our Smooches for Pooches Mini Event a couple of weeks ago over at K-9 to Five here in Vancouver! 🥰 It was such a fun day and everyone did amazing! Hello! I have been a professional photographer since 2004 and a pet lover my whole life. I graduated with a degree from USC Film School with an emphasis in cinematography and started out my career photographing babies, weddings and bands. In 2007, I started focusing on pet portraiture, but it wasn’t until 2017 (10 years later) that I was finally able to dedicate myself full time to my pet preservation passion.

I absolutely love telling the stories through imagery and capturing all the fun, loving and playful moments that go by in life so quickly. Puppies, kitties and pets in general have always been a big part of my life. I have volunteered for various animal shelters, including the Oregon Humane Society. I am a Certified Massage Therapist in the state of CA and have additional focused study on small animal massage (puppies, kitties, bunnies and other small fuzzy butts). My experience caring for and nurturing pets has helped me to develop a deeper understanding of them which undoubtedly flows through to my imagery, helping me to narrate each client's adorable, cute, mischievous and downright lovable personality.
