"Fine Art" 😅☺

I've been wanting to do light silhouettes for a while and today I got to try them out for the first time and now I'm obsessed... I cannot wait to do more of these! A big thank you to Mariah, Jayce and Nala for making my dream for the day come true 🥰.

Normally, these would be done with straight faces or a smile, but I really liked the idea of tongues out after Nala had some peanut butter... it seemed appropriate and made me laugh 😅❤

Just a few moments from a session this last weekend with Bear, Link, Vince and Po! Oh my! 😅🥰 I was trying out some new settings with the camera and super pleased with the results. We met at one of my favorite fields on a foggy morning. It started with a little sun peaking through the thick clouds and then of course it started to sprinkle, but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits. In the end, I am loving how their session is turning out and so excited to share their full gallery with their parents soon.

Just a heads up! For anyone interested in a Private Session, I know its a little early, but my schedule is currently available for May and beyond and so now would be the perfect time to snag a summer session for you and your Fuzzy Butt if you are thinking this may be something you want to do!

Marley got completely spoiled with treats today, but she absolutely earned it. I wanted to try out some treat toss shots and she did so good!! We had such a great time and she was SO happy to be my little helper for the day.

Memories will happen... in fact, each moment of your life is subject to a potential lasting memory.

While most moments become day to day routine memories, others are once in a lifetime. They shine like a star in the night sky that is our mind. We plan for them, prepare for them, value them and hold them above all other moments because we have a goal to achieve and put forth the energy and excitement to create a real life experience out of them.

A wedding, a concert, a birthday, a holiday, a pet photoshoot for your best friend... All of these moments, these events, are not an every day thing. They are very special time in that they create an opportunity for a celebration and a lasting smile on our face with bright warm memories in our hearts and minds. Remember, good times are most often created.

In life, we must give ourselves opportunities to help make our time the best it can be. We all have obligations and responsibilities, but remember to take time for yourself, your friends and your family. Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday!

Today I find myself completing an interview and was asked about what books or classes have helped you to become a better and more productive person? Which have helped shape you into who you are today?

For me, I have two very specific books which have shaped my mind frame and how I choose to approach life and I wanted to share them with you all.

The first "With Winning in Mind" by Lanny Bassham was given to me by my coach when I was a competitive archer....this book has proven itself again and again in my life and the lessons I learned from it are absolutely integrated into my mindset. It is a mental management system that helps one to focus on the ability to control your mind under pressure for sports, performance and business environments.

The second is "The Mind Body Code" by Dr Mario Martinez, who is a neuropsychologist studying how the mind works to help or hurt the body depending on how we think, our culture and how we experience our existence.

I found both books to be practical and proven and wanted to share them with you all here. If you choose to read either, or have read either, I would love for your input on how they worked for you! I was always such a mindful kid growing up, very smart and very aware of my surroundings, yet I did suffer for many years with learning to cope with life and situations outside of my control and I am so thankful for the wisdom I gained from each of these books.

Memories of Iceland.

On a funny side note, my father ended up doing a DNA test and discovered he has Viking DNA that links us to Iceland and Norway. No wonder it called to me. I hope I get to go back one day. 🐾❤🐾
