*a possible squeeze in Thursday, December 21st at 11:00

Hello everyone, as the holidays approach, I am having to tackle an unfortunate issue that I've never publicly tackled. My policy requires a 48 hour notice on cancelations in order to ensure ample time to refill the spot. I, of course, try to be as lenient as possible - because life happens. I also recognize that all of us are busy during this time and money is tight. But I have lost around $300 in the last week from last minute cancelations and no-shows. As a small business owner, I cannot endure hits of this magnitude. I just want to send this reminder out to please be courteous and provide at least a 48 hour notice if you are not planning on keeping your appointment. 🙏

Should your dog have their ear hair plucked??

- This is a controversial topic and should be treated on a case by case basis. Some breeds and types of dogs (such as poodles) have a large amount of hair built up in the ear canal. This excess hair can cause infections and may trap debris and moisture. Good air flow into the ear is important.
- Plucking the hair at home should not be done, as this process can irritate the canal. If you're ever in question, please seek the help and advise of your vet or groomer.
- pictured below is a before and after of a case where the ear hair needed to be removed. (Not every hair has been taken here as this guy was a squirmy puppy and this was his first time, but I am confident he will be much more comfortable now 😊)

Update: All spots have been filled, but I did have a couple openings pop up before Christmas! If you're wanting a cleaned up fur kid for the big man's visit 🎅, now is the time to sneak in. 😊

Since I will be closed on Thanksgiving, I have decided to open on Wednesday, the day before. I do still have a couple openings that day if anyone is wanting cleaned up pups for Turkey day 😊
