On Friday night, Storm Trooper & I walked into the ring for our 2017 Sarasota County Fair Steer Auction. The amount of tears I have cried leading up to this moment has been unreal. Trooper has made such a difference in my life along with being my motivation when I was sick. No matter how sick or bad I felt, I knew I had an animal that needed me. I pushed myself as hard as I could throughout this entire project for everything that I have earned. Trooper was sold for $5.75 per pound. I am beyond blessed to announce that Storm Trooper will be returning back to his home at our Yellow Brick Road barn. Never in a million years did I believe that I would be leaving our county fair with him. My buyer (Detwilers Farm Market) has decided to pay for him at the original $5.75 a pound and allow me to keep him. Although it is not a full total yet, I have made $5,882.25 so far for pediatric cancer research. I know that Benji was walking right beside me in that ring. I couldn't be more thankful for everything I have been given this past week. Thank you so much for the amazing amount of love & support you have given Trooper and I. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me & my best friend, Storm Trooper.
