This past week was jam packed with some cool ponies and even cooler releases!

The Magnawave not only allows me to make some cool new furry friends but it really puts into perspective how much time and effort we all put into these critters to keep them moving.

Motivation can be hard to come by when you feel like you’re scaling a mountain but let me tell you just how many of us are out here doing the same song and dance to keep our guys sound, sane and happy.

Let’s talk about performance horses and performance level maintenance.

If your horse is in heavy workload chances are you are working those muscles and a few things are happening:
👎 Decrease in nutrient absorbtion
👎 Increase of toxins within the muscle due to muscle use but little release
👎cell degeneration due to the body focusing on blood flow from your workout

How Magnawave assists in muscle reformation and or relaxation:
👍 Cell proliferation
👍 reduced cell death
👍 new blood vessel formation
👍 improves nutrient absorption

I tell my clients if your animals body is focused on just keeping itself running there is little to no room for pain management internally nor other vital keys to growth that your animal needs when in heavy workload. Before and after 🙌

This sweet boy got into a nasty little trailer accident (self inflicted) and bruised himself up pretty good.

Two sessions in and this boy is GLOWING with the Magnawave yall. People continuously ask me where I find the energy for these late nights and THIS right here guys. Seeing not only his body relaxed but seeing him just visibly sigh and release as well as his owner just makes this all worth it. ❤️

WHY is this working for my nerdy brains out there?

Before and after incoming…

This boy suffered from a pretty gnarly injury that left him compensating all over but mainly through his opposite hip and lower back.

Just a quick before and after of how the Magnawave allowed him to finally relax and let some of that tension go. By the time I left he was standing square again.

Everyone always asks me how OFTEN they should be getting this done and I’m starting this conversation here with this guy for example.

✨If your horse is recovering from an injury, is atrophied, in a heavy workload/training program or overall a bit out of wack once a week for 4 weeks is our sweet spot for a total reset.
✨If your horse is in moderate work and has had steady body work biweekly is usually your sweet spot
✨If you ride occasionally and or lightly mostly once a month is usually your sweet spot.

There are a TON of other factors to consider but this is my main question so we will start with a generic guideline but remember this service is about YOU and your horse getting the best out of me that you can so these may change depending on your vision/needs.

Hey Guys! I think it’s time I did a “meet the practitioner” and really introduce myself.

My name is Katie and the red hooligan in the picture is Miss Grace.

About 3 years ago or so this little dragon decided she wanted to put her leg through a fence. 🥴 It quickly spiraled out of control into cellulitis. After rounds and rounds of antibiotics, countless different wraps (sweat to ice). I still had some residual fluid left that she was really struggling to push. I thankfully met Halla Moriah Soop of Shooting S Performance who took us under her wing and treated her leg EVERY day for over a week. Wind, rain, dark etc.

Halla educated me on the how the technology works and I was sold after I saw after each treatment how my mare improved.

Fast forward 6 months and my mare decides her other leg needs a matching scar…🙄 To say the Magnawave became a lifesaver is an understatement. As a lifelong horse owner I have always had a passion for learning how to better care for my animals. My day job working in an engineering firm has made me a highly analytical problem solver and this translates to the horses and I am constantly looking for ways to keep them healthy and at peak performance. When I saw the benefits of Magnawave I wanted to learn more and I ended up shadowing Halla to see the impacts the therapy has on various injuries or just even recovery from high performance.

So, fast forward two years and I finally bought my own machine and decided I wanted to share it with our community to help as many horses as I can. When used in the right hand this tool is incredibly effective in healing horses.
