Litter #4 Not what I was expecting, but 20+ healthy babies. I shouldn't complain, but I'm going to anyway. This Nic T+ was sold to me as 100% het blood, she didnt prove out for that last year. She was also supposed to be 100% het sharp. No sharp babies here. I know it was an odd combo of genetics, but her supposed pairing made sense. I figured if she proved i have Sharps that were 100% het T+ and I shoot for double visual T+/sharp albinos in her next pairing with one of the male sharps. Well, we see that didnt happen and she is just Nic T+. Sire was a proven PDMT Aztec jungle het sharp. Last year he threw some crazy looking hypos and Aztecs that I would have bet anything were jungles, but not seeing jungle here. There are some real nice Aztecs and everything is 100% het T+. My theory was if she didnt prove I would have some killer jungles and Aztecs that were 100% het T+. Again, I'm really not seeing the jungle patterns like in his litter last year. I'm disappointed, but 20+ healthy babies and a healthy Mom, I shouldnt be so disappointed. Mom and Dad are pictured last, so these should be some good looking hets. Looking ahead to litter #5.

Litter #3...finally a viable litter. After a couple slug and still litters this season, some personal health issues and losing my mother in the last month or 2, Im happy to report something positive. My health is coming back and a heathy litter will hopefully be a new start of the season for me 14 live, 0 stills, 1 slug from a first time momma and Daddy. Pairing was a 0.1 VPI Aztec sunglow × a 1.0 Raptor het VPI.

Ist litter of 2024 was a bust. It was supposed to be litter #2, but came way too early. Pairing was a 0.1 Key West motley het anery to a 1.0 groovy coral line moonglow. At first I was thinking it might be a partho litter, but i see pattern on the dark motleys and keywests. They are a few weeks premature so it hard to say for sure. The albinos, snows or moonglows are also showing pattern. Either way, I believe that Mom is now het for snow, which is something positive. Fingers crossed that my year gets better. I always start off with a turd or 2. My luck is a 💩. Lol

I usually don't post lock pics and breeding stuff. I think it's bad luck or bad karma to post brag photos before babies are on the ground, but this was too funny to pass up. I hope this is just a little foreplay to leading up to more things to come.

0.1 2022 Orangasm-Lipstick Line Sunglow Leopard 66% het T1 anery
Check out my newest acquisition. Produced by Noah Marcus(Noah's Boas) and aquired from Cream City Serpents. She remides me of a Creamsicle. I got her on the MM auction. Spent a little more for her than the limit I set for myself, but still a great deal. If the 66% het proves out then she was an absolute steal and will fit right into my snow leopard and now hopefully moonglow leopard project. I have the male hypo img 100% het leopard 66% het moonglow that will hopefully be proven out before the 3 girls are ready and I can add img to it. The other 2 females are motley, so that will make them snow eclipse makers when paired to my kahl 100% DH snow leopard boy. My leopard projects have taken off as of late thanks to encouragement from my buddies Robert Hughes and James from Yodas Boas. I did sleep on the leopard gene for a few years, but now I'm catching up.

Indian River Constrictors got a new truck a couple months ago, well...new to me anyway. Lol I also got a new front license plate that matches the color scheme. I used one of my homemade logo's for the image. I think it turned out pretty well. The old truck and license plate did an end over end flip and had to be put down, but don't worry, I was ok. Just some cracked ribs and a big pain in the ass. Lol

1.0 Nic/CA T+ Albino Motley Fire
I had a visit from Richard and Jamie yesterday of CF Exotics. They brought me this awesome looking guy, that will fit perfectly into some of my future breeding plans. They also brought me some much needed mice. If you are looking for some top notch T+ fire or super fire stuff, give them a shout.

2023 was an overall good baby season for me. It had its ups and downs like any year, it is boa breeding after all. This boy gets more interesting with each shed. Almost IMG like speckling, and turns more orange every shed. If I named boas, I might call him Pumpkin Spice.

1.0 Hypo IMG 100% het Leopard 66% het Kahl/T1
He is really starting to darken up, especially for a hypo. He will be ready for the ladies soon, if not already. I'm deciding whether or not to put him to one of the motley girls I have that are het leo and more. One is an albino motley dh leopard/T1 and the other is a motley th leopard/kahl/T1. Its an amazing snow leopard and snowclipse project that this guy will add Img and hypo to, if he proves out. Hopefully he will be proven by the time those 2 powerhouse females are ready. If not my albino dh leopard /T1 male will get the job done.

1.0 2021 Red Pastel Sharp Albino Holdback
I usually dont like when a boa yellows up but something about the color on this boy that does it for me. He was actually purple after his few sheds then started to change. Each shed he changes a bit and surprises me. I havent paired him with a female yet because I've needed hypo in the pairings and his 2 holdback brother sunglows stole his spots. Ill use this boy someplace soon where I need color and contrast added.

1.0 2019 Purple line Hypo Keltic het Sharp
Ive been holding back on new acquisitions as of late, I had to buy a new truck, but had to get this boy for the sharp projects. He was produced by Rich at Davinci, his quality stands out as always. He is a looker and his stong keltic pattern has held up even with the hypo fighting against it. Thanks Pete!

I defrosted some chicks and rats to feed off today and was on the phone with my buddy James of Yodas Boas as I got them out of the bags. I wasnt paying much attention to what I was doing while blabbing away with James. When I looked up and just above my head I saw this girl eyeballing the chicks. Lol She is a bit of an escape artist. Not her first time free ranging in the boa room. Wasn't her feeding day, but she got a chick as a treat before I returned her to her enclosure.

0.1 2021 Pure Nic Platinum line T+ Sunglow
This girl sure is tiny, but beautiful. I hope she hits a growth spurt or something soon. Someday I'd like to put her in the rotation. She is kind of a pain in the ass and as a baby would eat frozen thawed, but the little princess has reverted back and snubs her nose at anyhing frozen. Lol

0.1 Pure Nic T2 Anery poss Super Ghost
This is the sister to the ghost girl I posted a few days ago. She is not as clean and light as her sister, but still one of the best T2 anery ghosts on the planet. She has a bit more speckling, but for some reason is much bigger than her sister and brother I held back. Mom and Dad are picured last. I believe Dad is a super hypo, one parent is, as the whole litter was hypo.

2020 0.1 Sunset Holdback
I almost let this girl go to a friend, Im so glad I didn't. She has blossomed into a real gem. Sunsets are so underrated, I guess that because the term "Sunset" is thrown around like beads at Mardi Gras. Ive seen "Sunsets" advertised on Morph Market that wereng even hypo, let alone super hypo, and at minimum 50% Hog Island. Lol Can't wait to see what she will produce for me, I have a male 75 % Hog Jungle Sunset waiting for her.

2022 0.1 T2 Anery poss Super Ghost
Yes, that says T2 anery...
This girl may be the niceset T2 anery ghost on the planet. She is more than likely a super. I produced this girl in 2022, I also held back 2 more siblings that are probably #'s 2 & 3. T2 anery is a forgotten gene that always gets overshadowed by BEA's and T1's, but this proves that T2's can be just as stunning. Both parents are pure Nicaraguans produced By Rich Delbono at Davinci Boas. The father, a super hypo het T2, was proven super by this breeding as the entire litter was hypo.

These 2 might my favorite Nics I've ever produced. Ive made sunglows and Burke T1 anerys before, but these sisters are special. In the goo I thought the Sunglow was a moonglow, but after the first shed her colors came out. Maybe next time I'll finally get that long chased after moonglow.

2015 0.1 Bessette Line Hog Island
To the naked eye, this girl doesn't look like anything out of the ordinary for a Hog Island, but if you follow my Hog Island stuff you may recognize her as the mother to my 2 striped and reduced pattern pure Hog Island litters. She is back up to fighting weight and ready to go again this year if all goes well. I didn't pair her till April the last 2 seasons and its paid off. That tip came from a old Florida Hog Island breeder. Going to try her with a differant male this year and see if we get stripes. I will also pair the male to a different female. Both striped litters came from this pairing. You may ask why Im doing the mix up? Why not just re-pair them and make more stripes? It is all part of the process of proving what is going on with them, which one makes the stripes or is it the combo. Plus, I have 12 striped and reduced pattern babies, from 2 litters already and I'd actually like to sell some Hogs this year to fund this project and start to get some sort of return on my Hog Island investments. Lol😆

0.1 Rio Bravo/Bessette reverse striped Hog Island
This years litter of striped and reduced pattern Hog Islands are coming along nicely. This girl has that same reverse striped pattern all the way into her tail, like her sister from last years litter. Again this year all of the litter has some degree of striping and reduced patterns. Last years litter which is about 15 months old have all really colored up and are looking incredible. The reduced pattern really lets the underlying pinks and oranges show through. I expect these to do the same.

One of my more anticipated pairings of the fall season and she is real close to an ovulation, according to the "new to me" ultrasound machine. He still seems to be interested and won't leave her alone, so he stays where he is. Not sure which gene I'm hoping the ghost parahet girl proves out to be. I won't be disappointed with either
