At Live Oak Animal Hospital, we provide high-quality veterinary care, including medicine, dentistry, orthopedics, soft tissue, and routine surgeries. We utilize techs to the fullest and have a fun, professional atmosphere.

The technician position requires broad knowledge & experience in veterinary medicine. This includes being proficient in phlebotomy, exam room procedures & education, restraint of animals, knowledge of lab & surgical equipment, filling prescriptions, and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Excellent clients, knowledgeable support staff and ability to work up cases. Fully equiped hospital, Avimark software, Idexx lab machines, surgical laser and treatment laser, IV pumps, ultrasound, digital xrays and dental xrays. We stress work up of cases and preventive medicine. No after-hour calls. Pro-sal compensation, paid CE, health insurance, 401K, paid vacation and major holidays, licenses, only cost of expenses for your pets.

The right candidate doesn’t have to be a seasoned experienced veterinarian. We offer a good mentorship program, with a great easing in schedule and doctors always available to consult with. So, if you are a new graduate and want to jump right into practice, we offer a great supportive program.

The schedule is very flexible, 3.5 to 4.5 days per week, 8-5:30 weekdays and 8-12pm Saturdays. 4 day weekend once a month! We help and cover each other and trade days if we need time off. Perfect for the veterinarian that wants to have a good work/life balance with family.
