State Veterinarian Dr. Alex Hamberg has received official confirmation from Alaska that Santa’s nine reindeer are in perfect health. The whole team is ready for takeoff!

Introducing our New Year’s “Reverse” Rescue – Adoption Promotion & Donation Drive!

This holiday season, we're turning things around in the best way possible! From December 20th to December 31st, all adoption donations are waived for the animals in our care! This couldn't have been done without the support and partnership with Driveway Subaru of Moon Township and Subaru Loves Pets.

Whether you're looking for a furry friend to add to your family or giving a forever home to one in need, now’s the perfect time to make a difference.

But that’s not all! Join us in spreading the love by contributing to our 'Stuff a Subaru' Donation Drive. Your support helps us continue rescuing and caring for animals who deserve a second chance.

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter in our Subaru which will be parked out front of our shelter building or they can be dropped off at Driveway Subaru of Moon Township

How to Participate:
1. Apply to adopt, fill out an application at ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org
2. Make a donation to help us continue our mission to save lives. Whether it be monetary or physical items - we appreciate the support.
3. Unable to stop by? You can make a donation online through one of our wish lists or make a monetary donation online.
