Opal was so excited to go to Odyssey Veterinary Care in Fitchburg today. December Donations: $1 from the sale of every bandana sold in December will be donated to a local animal rescue organization. Shelter From the Storm is located in Madison, WI and is an all-breed dog and cat shelter. This donation is in honor of Mickey Schaefer, who left this world far too soon on Nov. 8, 2023. Mickey volunteered countless hours at local animal shelters, and also helped recover lost dogs for many families. She was a force of nature when she was passionate about something, and so many humans and 4-legged friends benefited from her loving care. I think all dogs look snappy in bandanas, and when I couldn’t find what I wanted for Opal, I decided to make my own. My dream to start my own small business grew from there! I want to produce comfortable, stylish, and well-made bandanas that won’t fray or fall apart after a few washes. And I want them to be an easy on, easy off pet accessory that looks great for a long time. After trying several designs I settled on a 2-snap, reversible style made with 100% cotton fabrics. They come in 7 different sizes and are all handmade by me, with Opal by my side. I hope you find one that suits your dog (or cat!).
