Our annual litter is getting close, puppies should arrive the first week of April. We took a deposit for the first male a year ago, that momma has been waiting a very long time! You can see photos from Sydney and Tucker's two previous litters along with some great photos their parents sent us after they went home. If you are here for the first time, welcome my name is Jennifer! My husband Mick and I both work during the day but after hours we enjoy hobby farming. Our family also raises AKC Registered German Shorthaired Pointers and Labrador Retrievers. This is not a full time business for us, so you will have a very different experience than you would get from a career breeder. Our first litter of eight are eight weeks old now. I love receiving photos of them in their new homes, we are so proud to have placed such a good looking litter of pups to great people!

We are having so much fun with this litter of eight, we appreciate everyone’s interest and support in this journey! Two days after they were born we had sold every little baby. I created a private page for the parents and try to update them every day, even if it’s just a cute picture like this. Last week we made the tough decision to get Piper spayed (Sydney’s sister) so now we are on the lookout for the perfect female. Thank you again to everyone who continues to send messages of interest, we appreciate you!

We had to make a hard but responsible decision with Piper today. Sydney’s littermate and very best friend was born with a condition affecting her eyes, additional skin in both eyelids essentially. We scheduled her for surgery next month and will have her spayed at the same time because this is a condition that could potentially be passed to offspring. She will have a long fulfilling life here with us as Aunt Piper.

We will be on the hunt for another female because we also do not believe in breeding a female more than once per year. We love our dogs very much and do this for the joy it brings to our family.

The kids came home for the weekend and finally got to meet the babies! I can’t wait for the puppies to get more personality just to see the excitement out of these two...it’s the best part of raising dogs.

Deposits have been made for seven out of the eight puppies, the first day of their lives was a whirlwind for me! We have one male who is unspoken for at this time. Everyone will choose based on order of deposit at four weeks. I created a separate page for the parents of this litter where I will be sharing additional photos. I am getting a lot of questions about coloring so I made a collage showing Tucker’s progression. He was mostly white at birth, his ticking was much more prominent at four weeks and then much darker at one year. The puppies will look much different as they grow!

Two hours after we thought it was all over Sydney was walking around outside, went back into her kennel and gave birth to two more babies! She’s being a perfect mom...Mick and I are sitting next to her as excited as if we were new parents ourselves. We love our dogs like they are our own children, for real.

Sydney had five boys and one girl today, for being a first time mom she has done amazing! She hasn’t stopped doting on them for a second despite how tired you can tell she is. We have four boys unspoken for!

Spent the day putting together a small kennel for Sydney that goes both outside and inside our attached garage. We know she hates being away from her sister but she’s so close to delivering, we had to separate her. We are beyond excited to get this party started! I’m checking on her constantly, thinking I’m suddenly going to see a puppy in there with her.

Tucker was born September 2, 2019, he is an AKC registered German Shorthair Pointer with a very calm and loving temperament.
