How did you locate your lost pet?
My cousins and I found her! There is a abandoned barn and house that is kitty corner from the high school and someone had called me and let me know that they saw her there earlier today so we went over there just to go check it out one more time before we went to bed and sure enough she was hiding in the marsh in the back corner of the barn so my cousins and I had treats and I had Harper on a long leash and as soon and she saw Harper she ran up and you could tell she was relieved

Anything to share with others?
It’s very easy to start loosing hope within the 48hr window. Tully was so skiddish and afraid of everything and everyone. I always thought the worst. Having a great support system is the best way to go. Listen to your volunteers when it comes to their advice and suggestions.

Woohoo! It’s not only 4th of July but it’s also our July’s Pet of the Month Birthday! That’s right! Molly was born on the 4th of July and is celebrating her 8th Birthday this year! Happy Birthday, Molly! And we hope the fireworks don’t scare you today!

The final 2 cuties that are our July Pet of the Month contestants are actually 3!! Siblings are truly the best to have and this is no exception. Remember to share the link with friends and family for the final voting day of June 30th. I'll repost all 6 of our contestants tomorrow. Stay cool and hydrated out there and make sure your furry friends are hydrated as well!

James: I don't know about you, but from his picture he looks like an amazing pup and the best friend you could possibly ask for. However, I am TOTALLY biased as we had West Highland White Terriers growing up and even bred one for awhile (it was the 80's and she was from a champion line) James looks like he's ready to play ball with his human friends.

Blizzard and Snowman (hopefully these names will help bring in some cooler weather from the heat wave outside!): Blizzard and brother Snowman born on 7/4/2019 will be 6 years old, they were rescued at 5 months. Will not do well if you try to seperate them unless you are willing to hear cries. Sweet Blizzard named by his quickness and high jumps. Snowman sweet and more approachable, always right behind his brother.

Dottie's Family says this and we have to agree!: We are submitting Dottie who will be 2 in July. Who doesn’t love a funky looking, goofy Great Dane?!

Harley's family didn't have much to say about her but sent a bunch of pictures for me to choose and wow! it was difficult. She is such a sweetie!: Harley turns 1yr old on July 16.

Molly's parents would like to share this about her: Molly is our little fire cracker, born July 4th 2017 she will be turning 8 this year.

Sable's parents would like to share this about her: We adopted Sable as a puppy from All Herding Breed Dog Rescue in 2014. She has added so much to the lives of everyone she meets, whether informally or in her role as a therapy dog, visiting hospice patients, families and staff. She is smart and silly and is the perfect dog for us. She’ll turn 11 in July.

Make sure to keep all of your pets hydrated this week in the heat wave and if your pet is afraid of fireworks plan ahead and pick up some Sileo now.
