Get ready for little Logan to steal hearts as he joins our squad! Born with neurologic differences, he's a tiny but mighty one-and-a-half-year-old who weighs just 2 pounds, yet radiates sass and love, guaranteed to make Tiny smile from up above.
(He was so matted when we got him that we thought he was a girl so we named him Lilly. After his spa day, our groomer told us that Lilly identified as a boy. Even the vet paperwork from an out of state vet said he was a girl. Just part of his story and makes me laugh any time I think of it)

These are the hardest of days. We had to say goodbye today to our sweet, beautiful boy Frankie Sinatra. He had been at Gulf Coast Vet Specialists since Sunday with a collapsing trachea that we have been battling for quite some time now. Only this time, Frankie could not breathe outside of his oxygen kennel and was not eligible for the stent procedure that Tiny once had. He was only four years old. 😭💔
We were giving him lots of hugs as kisses as he crossed to the rainbow bridge. Run free sweet Frankie with no more coughing. Go find our friends Tiny, Louie, Gracie and Bella and give them all big hugs. We love you sweet boy.

Sweet baby Maui has turned two years old. She is a little darling and is such a fabulous agility partner for me. I couldn’t love her more if I tried!

Bentley and Maui took their first agility test and did fantastic. Now they will be starting to do Novice Agility trials once we get up the nerve to sign up. They both have a blast but Bentley loves it the most. Once he gets there, he acts like it is Disneyland. Stay tuned for their progress!!

This couch belongs to Dani. She sleeps on it every day. She is not happy one bit that Bentley wants to sit on the corner of it. She is a princess.

Maui has a new friend….a toy Aussie named Capri. She had been really sick but Maui has been nursing her back to health and teaching her the ropes.

Freddie is 13 years old and still going strong. He has been with us since April 2020 (one year after Tiny and Louie arrived) and is one special little guy. He tried to bite us fairly regularly when he first arrived from California but now loves back rubs and lounging on the couch with us. We are thankful he has given us the chance to love him.

Bentley had double patella surgery and has been relaxing in the flower beds while recovering. I will admit that he scared me out of my mind the first time he was there and I couldn’t find him. Wishing everyone a great beginning to springtime. ❤️

I’ve struggled losing our trio but God must have known what I needed. Bentley came to us in March from a lady who lived in New York who was in poor health. We lost Tiny a couple of months after that. Bentley was hairless and in definite need of some medical care….just like the trio was. He has been a huge source of comfort to me during the time of loss. I do DNA test on all my dogs but never did Bentleys until a few weeks ago. Imagine my shock when I found out yesterday that he shares DNA with our sweet Louie. I brings me comfort knowing they were related.

It’s been a tough year losing our small trio but pictures like this make life a little better.
Freddie is 13 years old and is usually the grumpy one in our squad. However, I guess today he was just so happy to get a new hair cut that he gave us all a big smile! We love you Freddie.

Dearest friends of Louie,

The end of the beginning has come as we are saddened by the unexpected passing of our beloved Louie yesterday. Louie knew it was time to leave this earthly world and find his best buddies over the rainbow bridge, Tiny and Gracie. He passed away peacefully at home during his morning nap. His health had been declining more rapidly in recent weeks.

Louie was rescued in 2019 along with 47 other dogs from Arkansas. Louie helped his best friend Tiny make a big come back in health and strength when they reunited. Tiny, Louie, and Gracie became the beginning of my journey in the rescue world.

Louie didn’t love many things as a grumpy old man, but he loved pill pockets, cheerios, and snuggling. He had an internal clock that always knew when it was time to eat, time to go outside, and time to sleep.

We find comfort in knowing the trio is back together again and continue to rescue others that need love and care in their honor. We’re grateful for the time we had, even though it’s never truly enough. Rest easy sweet Louie. Give Gracie and Tiny our love.

I guess Tiny was shining down on the Aggies this weekend as they played Alabama. We sure miss her but Louie is doing great and still supporting the Ags!

I thought I would share an update on Bentley along with a friendship pic of him with sweet Louie.
Although Bentley still has some bald spots, his hair is filling in beautifully and he seems to love his new crew. He has started agility training because he has tons of energy and is the fastest little guy in our yard. Louie is healthy, eating every day and is king of the kingdom.

Some Monday happiness. Louie has been doing great and even though he is 14 years old, blind and mostly deaf, he is still able to run for the kitchen when he knows it’s time for dinner.

Snack time with Tiny. This is how we know she is feeling better....she doesn’t want to miss a snack. Thank you for all of the support you have given us during the last month....I believe it has truly helped to make her better.
