Today is Dec. 29th, 2024 .... the year is coming to an end and the holidays are winding down .....Life here at Laymani has been very busy, I am finally feeling better since my recent hospital stay....now - I am trying to get my strength and focus back ....

Sooo the news we are on Puppy watch for our first 2025 litter due in 2 weeks, Indy and Serrano are the proud parents ,,,, so check back with us for the news of their birth.they will be ready to go home in March 2025. ...

In the meantime, romance is in the air with Gabby and Boomer, they will be K-I-S-S-I-N-G - next week, hopefully resulting in a beautiful litter of puppies. (Projected dates -, Born - First week of March 2025, pups will be ready to go home first week of May 2025),,

We currently have Ginger Rodgers and Shirley Temple almost 4 month olds (Born Sept, 8, 2024, parents Poppy and Serrano) the perfect puppy age for training, past the nipping stage and focusing making training so much easier, at this age the pups can attend puppy classes and puppy day care programs, perfect for working families. The girls are doing great and spend their days running, jumping and dancing with James Dean, the male pup we retained for our Boxer Program. The 3 pups are so much fun to watch as the find new discoveries everyday. The girls are very loving and playful.

Lily's pups, are growing fast, they were born Nov. 19th (parents Lily and Boomer) Prancer and Dasher will be ready to go home after Jan 21, 2025, Comet (male- fawn), V***n and Donner ( fawn females) are waiting to find their families. They are so cute at this age still rolling and tumbling in between running and boxing in their play pen.

September (2006) marked our 19 year anniversary .... so this year 2025 we will celebrate 20 years of Laymani LOVE!!!!!

Our success has been the love and passion we have for our sweet Boxers and sharing their love and heart smiles with our Laymani Families. When we began Laymani, support programs for the most part did not exist ....we are very proud to have pioneered this concept and proven it to be extremely positive for helping families find responsible breeders and match them to their special Boxer pup or adult Boxer. Providing lifetime support to our families keeps us connected to our families from birth to end of life, always available for questions and concerns that they have for their Boxer.... pertaining to health, nutrition, exercise, training , emergency situations and challenges. Offering these services we have helped frustrated families find solutions to challenges, that without our support could have led the family to surrendering their Boxer to the shelter, or re-homing it.Keeping Boxers with their families is one of our goals. Updates, December 15th, 2024

Just a quick up date for Laymani Boxers. We are quickly approaching Christmas and all is well at Laymani. Both Ginger Rodgers and Shirley Temple are now 14 weeks old and loving life. The girls love to play and snuggle whenever a human is near LOL... the girls are stunning, Ginger with her fawn coat and black velvet mask, she has the sweetest eyes and is full of heart smiles. Her sister Shirley Temple is just as sweet as Ginger and has a beautiful white blaze that softens her sweet face....both girls are sleeping through the night and go to the door when they need to go potty....they are past the nipping your feet stage and are no longer the trip hazards the 8 to 12 week olds tend to be, the girls are the perfect age for training. They are up to date on their shots and have great vet reports. The girls are going to be wonderful family love Boxers. Sweet kisses, and lots of laughter is why Boxers are sooo popular.

Lily and Boomers pups born Nov. 9th are 4 weeks old, they will be ready to leave us anytime after Jan. 21, 2025. Perfect time to bring a Christmas puppy home, after the holidays when the decorations are all put away and the holiday rush and excitement has calmed down...and attention can be paid to the puppy. This sweet litter are all adorable, when we had the photo shoot last week at the beginning of the shoot, some of the puppies were sleepy and keeping them awake was a challenge, if you look at the photos you can see the pups that were prioritizing naps over photos ..lol ... Lily (their Momma) was assisting us during the photo shoot and watching closely with every puppy's photo time....she would pace between the photo set and the puppy pool that the pups were in waiting for their photo time... her pacing between the 2 places, got the pups attention .... and now some of the pups wanted their mama's milk bar attention ....lol this began the puppies to show off their voices and they began singing their song to get Mama Lily's attention. LOL if you look at the photos you can see their mouths shaped with song .... howling with the best puppy voices. They are adorable.

We have Vixon a beautiful female she is stunning with her reverse brindle coat with a beautiful thick white blaze and collar, she is going to turn heads when out for a walk. Her sister is Donner, also a flashy reverse brindle, her blaze is thinner and she also sports a thin partial collar....she loves to blink LOVE with her sweet round lump of coal eyes...we also are loving Comet our handsome BOY with a beautiful fawn with a tri-colored mask,,,,,white center outlined with a velvet black marking and his fawn cheeks, his eyes are also outlined with black ....and he has white socks to boot! Comet is amazing! I love our babies, they are just beautiful!

Indy and Serrano have been together and will be providing us with Laymani pups that will be ready to go home in March, Sooo life is wonderful here at Laymani and all our Boxers are loving life ,,,, we are in winter mode and have turned on the heaters and doubled up their bedding ...they love to play in all the fresh wood chips in their play yards, and burrow down in the thick bedding in their heated sleeping beds ... life is good ,,,Happy Boxers ...Happy Life.

Don't let the name fool this little girl is as sweet as a sugar plum! Wearing red and coming in at solid 3 lbs this girl is solid! Proud Papa Laymani Boomer and Sweet Lilly really did good with this Sealed Brindle girl with white mask.

(Side note:
The white and speckled faces is a feature not seen as much in recent past litters. Auntie Diana and Auntie Note were dark on dark. Just like Miss Popie. Since adding Boomer into the program we are now seeing these gorgeous dark dogs with white and speckled faces. Not since the Mama Sophie and Gigi days have we seen this combination so prevalent. Sophie and Gigi are living on through these pups.

from Guy - This Laymani Boxers Facebook is the public-facing representation of Laymani, but I wonder how many folks, browsing this Facebook, realize that the private Laymani Families group is where 430 of our Families can share photos and stories of their Boxers. It's a very active area, enjoyed by all. In addition, we have the private Laymani Health group, where we can concentrate on health and training issues. When the first multi-factor flea, tick, and heartworm treatment was introduced, our Laymani Families quickly reported neurological issues with over-dosing and we were able to recommend waiting before advancing to heavier weight-based dosages.

from Guy - Thanksgiving visitors, Kristie Miller and family, are nearly home. We've been lucky enough to have Boomer and Gabriella back home for the holiday.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, we had the pleasure of a visit from a Longtime Laymani Family, the Stambaughs. They traveled across the state to take home Mercy. Cooper wasn't able to come with them, but we saw pictures of Mercy with her boy later in the day. I'm sure she'll be well-trained!
With everyone heading home from the Thanksgiving holiday, we were able to bring young Abigail (Abby) to the house. Momma Laymani and I have been snuggled into our chairs for a couple hours, while Abby has been exploring the house. It's a joy to have a puppy in the house, once again.

Momma Laymani is currently in the hospital, being treated for AFIB. We hope the meds will allow her to be released tomorrow, so that's why you haven't heard much about Puppies for awhile. Her day-to-day life has involved a couch and oxygen. A short walk to the car leaves her breathless.

Anyway, this is intended to be a brief update on puppies. We have 1 18-week-old female with us. She has had all of her puppy shots, along with the rabies vaccination. We also have 4 (1M/3F) available puppies at our son Darrell's. They are just 100 yards away on the same property.
