This week has been a real challenge for me. As most of you know I work primarily by myself and do all the grooming on my own. I do have health issues and I can be slow. Making sure that everyone’s pet (fur baby) is treated with same amount of care that I would give my own is important to me and I always do my best to provide that. I have to take care of all the boarders and rescue dogs also and then I answer the phone and talk to the walk in people too. You can imagine how frustrating it is when I want to groom a dog to the best of my ability but have the owner calling to put a rush on it. Or waiting at Jacks and I have to hurry. It doesn’t make me mad it just puts a stress on me. It makes me feel I can’t do my best for that pet. I have been swamped this week due to the upcoming holiday. I’m thankful for that too but I would be happier if I wasn’t so rushed sometimes. I don’t have a closing time and do work very late. So I just want to put this out there and let people know that here its just one person doing all the work and there is no secretary. If you want your dog to get groomed I’ll be more than happy too but you might get it back at 9:00 at night LOL 😂 (Yes I will give it water and take it to p*e) 🙄 You could ask some of my 20 year clients and they would tell you I won’t kidnap or harm your dog if it stays a long time!
