Apache has proven to be a safe mount for kids and he is a newly turned 4 year old. He loves to trail ride with no “funny business”, he is a steady eddy on the trails and will walk up to anything. He has never offered to rear, spook or be flighty while under saddle. He has shown lots of potential and is an eager to please partner. Apache has been improving his stops, spin, rollback, and working towards steering in all gaits with quick and consistent improvement. While western has been the focus of his training with a nice relaxed head, he has also shown capability in the English discipline as well!

He is an absolute sweetheart to be around. Personality is curious and that of a baby horse. He will trot across the pasture to meet you and will follow you everywhere like a puppy.

From toting kids as young as 4, yielding the reins on their own, to overnight camping trail rides, Apache has proven to be reliable in a variation of situations. If safety and reliability are what you seek this is your guy!

He stays sound barefoot or with shoes. Apache will come to you up to date on teeth, shots, with a current negative coggins and fitted front AND hind scoot boots for the trails.

He is the kind that you want to have around, and has a long life ahead. He is still considered green but is making huge improvements in training. I still consider him safe for children based on his kind, easygoing personality and offering no bad behavior while toting around kids. He will be started on the pattern as his speed in the pasture is faster than any horse and he has proven to be an athlete. After conquering balance, fast turns, keeping his head at the vertical not below and starting on the pattern, price will increase.

***REHOMED***: Meet Mango, a 14 year old grade appaloosa gelding. Under saddle he’s a push ride that will go where you lead him and can take a joke. He’s never given any funny business under saddle. No buck, bolt, rear, spook. Has carried a young inexperienced western rider with no issue in just a hackamore. He would make an excellent beginner lesson horse. Will walk, trot, canter. More whoa than go. On the ground Mango can be wiggly. He is conscious of you being around and will let up when he is under direct care. A lot of time has been spent working on this and he is showing improvement just needs the consistency factor. Loads and unloads in a trailer no issues. Picks up all 4 feet. Ties in crossties, a hitching post, or tie ring. He is a cribber but this is easily managed with a cribbing collar which will go home with him. Super easy keeper! He lives out 24/7. He is also barefoot. Mango is utd on vaccines and coggins and has just been wormed for our Spring worming. Asking lower four figures to only the best home. Price to increase with further training. He’s ready to find his new home! We hope Mango ends up with a kid of his very own. We really loved this handsome fella and we will prepare for his release to a great family where he can live out the life he deserves with lots of lovin’! Please wish him good luck as we find an approved home.

Welcome MANGO to the MPH family! With no story this created a new challenge. One that started with a lot of love and working on trust that opened up a door to a horse that wanted to please and perform! He now feels like such a safe mount and has offered no spook, buck, rear or bolt. He prefers more whoa than go but will go if asked. He’s ridden with a bit and hack with no fights. Could go either direction. Mango now will start working with kids to see how he likes them, standing patiently when tied and will be available soon! 🚨🚨

*** REHOMED: Chicken Nugget went to live with Beth and Family on a amazing property where he has access to his stall whenever he wants. He loves being groomed by her and is very vocal when she comes to visit and care for him. Congrats Elizabeth on this special little guy look forward to hearing about your adventures together *** 18 year old grade Paso gelding now available for rehoming! Standing at 14 hands. “Chicken nugget” has been in my training program and is progressing. In your pocket type and has been amazing to work with. He offers ZERO spook and gaits his little heart out and can even ”brio” move in place. Had shoulder surgery and rehabbing or else his training and price would go up!

Not for beginners as he can be a bit forward as he loves to gait. Nothing dangerous just typical paso high energy but “wanting to please” personality and I have no issues getting him to walk. Able to provide videos upon request of walk and gaiting.

To approved good home only. He has a way with melting your heart and want to make sure he ends up in the right situation. Will come with a set of scoot boots and UTD Coggins.

Our little nugget paso coming along so well. Cannot wait to find him the absolute perfect home. He is absolutely amazing. Getting a little more weight on and going on his first trail ride tomorrow! He’s a good one. Will take interest in him soon!
