Honey Bun, Biscuit, & Oreo: A Triple Treat

Hello friends! Biscuit here. Guess what? Today was my birthday!!!! I’m 8 years old now. I had such a nice birthday. I got to watch my favorite show, Game of Thrones, all afternoon. Then Mom served me my annual birthday meat dinner! Afterwards, Mom took me to the beach for a romp in the ocean and playing in the sand. I am so very loved ❤️🎂

Hello friends! We had two important milestones this weekend! First, Mom went away for a few days and her good friend Auntie Beth stayed with us. She took such good care of us and sent Mom all these nice pictures. Cinnamon was nervous the first night but then settled right in. Mom is so proud of her. And on top of that… Cinnamon finished her heart worm treatment! After 4 months, she’s done with the injections and took the last pill yesterday. It’ll be so exciting for her to really get to play now and go on nice, long walks. We can’t wait ❤️

Hello friends! Looking to have TWO of your very own Oreo cats? These VBSPCA had these two tuxedo kitten cuties who need a loving home ❤️

Our Pets of the Week are all dressed up with no place to go... yet! Strawberry and Raspberry have been overlooked for some of our more outgoing kittens, but we know their home is out there. Ideally, we would love to see these two sisters be adopted together because they love each other so much. These three month old Tuxedo ladies are very shy, so they will need help learning how to socialize with humans - however, they have made a lot of progress in their foster home and here at the shelter!

The key to these girls' hearts may be in treats... be sure to check out our Stories today to see them in action! They're also very good about eating their meals, which are provided by our friends at Purina. Stop by the shelter today to meet Strawberry and Raspberry!

Hello friends! Cinnamon here. Just thought I’d give you an update on my heartworm treatment. I got my first injection a couple of weeks ago and go for my 2nd & 3rd in early July. I’m still taking my Prednisone too. Mom is doing her best to keep me nice and calm… but it’s so hard because I really want to play sometimes! But I have TONS of Nylabones to chew, which I love. Plus, I’m learning some tricks! And of course, I’m getting lots of love and cuddles ❤️

Hello friends! I started my first dose of Prednisone yesterday in my battle against my yucky heart worms. I feel fine… but it makes me have to potty way more often! I had a couple of accidents in the house yesterday. But Mom said it’s okay and she still loves me ❤️
