On June 27, 2024, a person encountered a bobcat in the 2200 block of Stowe Road. The bobcat was euthanized and tested positive for rabies.

Rabies is 100% fatal if left untreated. If anyone in your household, including your pet, has had any exposure to stray or wild animals in this area within the past few weeks, please contact your physician or the Virginia Beach Department of Public Health at 757-518-2700. Do not call 911 unless you have an emergency.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider helping us out.

Starting next week, TWO of our three adoption kennels will be CLOSED down for flooring resurfacing. This renovation takes 2 weeks to complete. 🫣

The MISSION - Find foster homes for 20 dogs by next week, for two weeks, until their kennels are ready.

Blowout Season

Its BLOWOUT SEASON. Katie and Madison are spoiling rescue dog Woody for his afternoon with a foster! They ordered bee-keeper hats to keep the fluff out of their lungs to help prevent groomers lung.

It makes our hearts happy getting videos like these from our customers! We are excited to get to see you too Chase! 🐶 💕
