Men!! It’s okay to ask for help, in fact it’s the right thing to do! As men we are wired to be fixers, our dogs have issues and we try to fix them which is very noble but very hard to do due to the lack of dog training education for general dog owners!

Tired of cleaning up dog poop and pee??!!! What if I told you your dog doesn’t potty inside due to spite! Your dog potties inside because he has to potty 😂. How do we address proper potty training? TAKE YOUR DOG OUTSIDE FREQUENTLY! clean it up, if you can startle your dog during a potty incident and redirect outside that’s also cool! It’s not the end of the world!!

When watching content on social media please understand that the ridiculous claims have to be made otherwise you will be bored! I can’t wait to make the next video I think it will really get a rise out of people 😂

Why give your dog one treat at a time? That’s boring! The purpose of treat delivery is about leveraging dopamine releases to empower the dog to actually work. If you give your dog one treat they only get one dopamine release. The same as giving them 2-3 treats at the same exact time, although it may look rewarding and be visually exciting to the dog it’s not as beneficial as giving them a treat, pulling your hand away, and giving another treat! Add this to training and watch your dog tune in more!!!

Humans and dogs alike strive with routine and structure, it’s important for our survival. Our dogs are not quite as domesticated as we are and can often find themselves living in a state of survival aka fight or flight. Anytime you are outside with your dog your dog is analyzing and processing everything! Unless of course you keep telling your dog to leave it, let’s go, come, focus, etc. This is where obedience gets tricky! You want your dog to listen but at the same time your dog wants you to listen 😂 it’s important to find a balance! Let your dog figure out the 5 ws and then try to expect more from your dog only after they are comfortable with being where they are

Set you and your dog up for success with these 5 simple tips! A lot of the calls I get for dog training can be managed and fixed just by implementing the tips! 1. leash inside the house 2. Too much talking 3. Too much touching 4. Not enough play 5. Not enough freedom
