We’re thrilled to welcome Cortni to the Crossfire K9 family! After an extensive vetting process, we knew she was the perfect fit to make a positive impact on dogs here in Hampton Roads. With us, she’ll be working exclusively on private lessons.

Grew up in Rochester, NY surrounded by dogs and gained hands-on experience at a training/daycare/boarding facility while earning her Psychology degree
Has shadowed multiple trainers across several states and brings a wealth of knowledge to each session
Now calls Virginia Beach home thanks to her fiancés Navy career 🇺🇸

🐾 Meet Mudd! ✨ He originally started out as a day train client, but his family decided a board & train program would set him up for even more success. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be focusing on his reactivity, leash walking skills, general obedience, and building off-leash reliability so he can enjoy more freedom and confidence. Excited to watch this handsome poodle grow! 🐾

If she looks familiar, that’s because she joined us as a puppy for her first board & train. Now that she’s all grown up, she’s back for her adult program! Over the next few weeks we’ll be focusing on building solid obedience, helping her with emotional regulation and settling, polishing her manners, and getting her reliable off-leash so she can enjoy life to the fullest. 💛

Sending dogs home is always bittersweet—especially when they leave paw prints on your heart and bite marks on your legs 😂. Solo was one of those dogs who challenged me, moved me, and reminded me why I do what I do. Watching him transform and start living his most free and authentic life lit a fire in me that I didn’t know I needed.
This boy holds a special place in my heart, and I’m endlessly grateful to his owners for trusting me with him. I know a whole new life is waiting for him—and I’m so proud to have been part of his journey. 🐾❤️
