I’ve been having pain in my back so mom took me to the vet. They said I have something called spondylitis in my spine. The doc gave me some good medicines to hopefully make me more comfortable. I really hope they start working soon! For now, I’m just gonna lie here in this glorious sunbeam while it lasts!

So, it’s been a minute since I posted an update on my leg. We are still not 100% sure what the exact issue is with my leg. But, it remains painful and there is movement in my wrist joint which was fused several years ago. Enter Bionic Pets!! This new custom molded orthotic will support my wrist and leg, which should hopefully alleviate my pain. Many thanks to Dr. Barnes and his staff at James River Veterinary Surgery for all they have done to get me back on all four feet. Prayers appreciated that this does the trick! I haven’t been on a walk in months!!

Today has brought HOPE!! Dr. Barnes is very skeptical that I have a tumor. He actually thinks, according to his exam, that there is something going on with my rotator cuff. Today, I was given some sedation and an injection into my shoulder. If this brings improvement to my limping, that will tell us that we are on the right track. At that point, I will be placed in an orthotic until I heal completely. If I don’t improve, I will need a biopsy from the wrist area where the x-ray abnormality is. Thank you all for your prayers and good vibes! Please keep them coming.
