Our Mom and pup needs a foster!

Village! We need your help!

Remember our bottle baby Archie? Found alone, cold and covered in fleas? Our rescue partners went back to search the area and found what we think is mom and Archie’s one surviving brother who hadn’t been dropped on the side of the road.

We want to bring them into rescue. The brother can go with Archie’s foster…. But we HATE the idea of leaving mom behind.

Can anyone step up to foster mama? She deserves her happily ever after, too.

Please connect ASAP if you can help us save this mama. All medical and supplies provided by the rescue!

Yesterday at 6am we loaded up the spay and neuter van.

I wanna say Thank you to Kelsey Ball for working so hard at her job and really caring about the animals!

To the Margaret B. Mitchell Spay/Neuter Clinic we are grateful that you help our communities to end this battle we are desperately fighting.

31 animals off to be spayed and neutered!

4 NO SHOWS IF you schedule with me and don’t show you will not be scheduled again. It takes time to schedule these appointments and I’m tired of your excuses. There is always an excuse. I offer to give your animals rides and help anyway I can. There should be no excuses to why you didn’t show unless you’re dying.

That is 4 spaces that were not filled and 4 other animals that could have went on the van.

❤️Everyone welcome the last little girl from our hoarding case to the Haven. She didn’t make it out and that’s okay we got her back!

➡️Summer is 8 weeks old, she will see the vet this week and has already been wormed and given her first vaccination.

➡️Summer will be a medium size dog about 40/50 lbs. he so far is friendly and is in full puppy mode!

➡️Summer would adjust well in any home and will be ready for adoption after her second vaccinations and rabies shot at 14 weeks.

➡️If you’re interested in adopting or FOSTERING TO Adopt! Please private message the page or our founder SWVA Animal Haven.

➡️Adoption fees for puppies are $250 this includes all vetting and spay and neuter at our vet only. If you live outside the area you would be responsible for remaining vet visits if they are not completed. ✔️ ❤️

Our largest transport yet!

26 animals 22 dogs mostly puppies, and 4 healthy kittens are off to the most amazing rescues.

First a huge Thank you to Tri-State Animal Rescue and Chris for transporting. These animals lives could not be saved without him. Who would drive them all??

A huge thank you to Jo Anne Harding and PAWS of SWVA for working with us to help 8 puppies abandoned at a trailer off to rescue at Mae's Mutts.

Thank you Dana Outlaw for saving the 5 littles they are Off to rescue with Smalls and 2 of the hoarding pups to SFC Virginia.

Thank you to Sonni N Daniel Peters-Morangello for fostering and quarantining the 4 kittens that are off to Jeepin For Paws.

Thank you to Homeward Trails Animal Rescue for saving Pennington.

Last but not least a huge THANK YOU to Richmond Ruff House for taking 5 of the hoarding pups.

Yesterday was a long day not only DID we have the spay and neuter VAN, we had to round up 21 puppies. All while being sick and not feeling well.

RESCUE DOESN’T STOP if you are sick or injured. You have to suck it up and keep pushing. Which can be extremely hard.

I am tired I was so emotionally stressed yesterday it made me sick. Motion sickness and vertigo is not a joke. It was rough driving the backwoods in the mountains in deep rural areas to collect all these puppies!

STOP 🛑 BREEDING ANIMALS THERE IS ENOUGH PUREBRED ANIMALS FOR TEN YEARS.

Update Puppies off to rescues. We split the litter. The adults still need rescue one is currently injured.

Update 8 puppies have been rescued, Mom, 7 month old male and a now INJURED 2/3 year old heeler shepherd mix still need RESCUE! Injured dog was attacked by a stray dog.

Please help us helTri-State Animal Rescuet a call about someone needing help! 16 dogs including 9puppies.

We have brought them food thanks to Tri-State Animal Rescue and they have been wormed.

We are working on rescue commitments for these babies.

Mom (brindle)40-45lbs mix breed and 9 puppies 7/8weeks 10lbs and under seem pretty healthy, mixed breed

Male 7 months old seems healthy (black and white) maybe 40lbs in a fenced area, mixed breed

Male cattle dog / heeler mix 2/3 years old maybe 45lbs on a chain

All friendly and good with other dogs
