Busy week at the ranch….we installed some new jumps and decoration in the main arena, the TheraPlate and Bemer are being put to good use, manes are being pulled and tamed, ranch patrol is happening, and the old arena fencing in being used around the main home.

Today was our 2nd Equus Coaching Demo at the ranch with Kathy Rausin and it was AWESOME to learn about this technique! We enjoyed getting to know some friends and spending time with many of our boarders. Thank you to Cindy Rota for loaning us Mouse, to Holly Galloway for loaning us Laci, and to Dr. Susan Williams for sharing Raisin with us!!

That’s a wrap on our very first clinic! We were honored to host Joe Fargis for the past two days! Thank you to everyone who came to ride, audit, work jump crew, and to our fabulous ranch team for making a girl’s dream come true! 🧡💙
The ranch is really coming along…the mid-ranch arena is officially open, the new mid-ranch tack rooms are open, the main arena is in full use on both sides, the barn is open, and our lower ranch sun pen turn-outs are open for horses to enjoy…and they are! Still to come 🔜 lower ranch park-side turnout and our new drainage swales.
We welcome Equus Coach and Master Facilitator in Training, Kathy Rausin to our programing in January. Equus Coaching is a unique and highly effective approach to interpersonal development facilitated by horses and certified life coaches.
Kathy Rausin spent 30+ years of her career working in high tech manufacturing as an operations professional. Additionally, she found passion in helping others as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Equus coach. Her experience leading teams and mentoring individuals in corporate America has seamlessly integrated into her experience as an Equus Coach.
What she loves about Equus coaching is that the horse is her co-facilitator and gives immediate feedback on the alignment of an individual’s thoughts, beliefs, and actions. Kathy can then quickly assess an individual or team, and with the horse’s help, provide the best support for growth and discovery. Her simple mission when coaching with Equus is to have every client or group leave feeling more aligned and empowered than when they showed up.
Kathy Rausin offers individual coaching, leadership development and team building opportunities for both private and corporate clients. She has worked with mental health groups, veterans, families, corporate training groups, and more. She is excited to show you the magic of horses as well!
Kathy has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology from the University of California Irvine and her Master of Arts in Counseling from National University. More information to follow soon about our January Meet and Greet Events.
What a wild week…barn renovation is coming along and our first horses move in tomorrow. We are super excited for the new wash racks with full plumbing, our concrete aisle, new stall windows, fully redone DG stall base and new mats, new paint, new wall panels, our new grooming stalls, and our new tack rooms! We even installed mud grids to help hold soil and footing in place when it rains.

Another quiet week at the ranch…barn remodel with drain trenching, cement prep, grooming stall customization, and new stall footing/matting is happening! We also welcomed our first boarders into the new community tack rooms, demolished the last old free standing tack shed and finished the new cross ties. We are busy!
We are pleased to announce that our December Clinic with Joe Fargis is SOLD OUT! We are still taking Auditor registration.
Things are really happening this week! Mid-ranch tack rooms and cross ties will be done this weekend! The main arena will be done this weekend! The barn remodel is in full swing (as in sledgehammer swing that is) with concrete and French drains going in for our hot/cold inside wash rack and laundry room. The walls are being rebuilt and the roof is being reinforced. Windows go in next week and our lighting has already been updated to LED. The future is bright for this ranch. ☀️
This was a super busy week at the ranch….19 tons of DG were delivered for our arena base, we welcomed some new friends, we have leveled a pad that is bigger than originally planned so we have changed the plan from a new round pen to a 60’ x 72’ lesson arena with seating, the new mid-ranch tack room and cross-tie concrete foundation was laid, we took delivery of a beautiful squeeze of fresh hay, and the main barn demolition and remodel began. The old stalls along the park were also demolished making room for three new turn-out paddocks with a lovely view of the park! Things are happening, it’s exciting!
This week our new Main Arena fencing was installed. We love the look of this Priefert Ponderosa Fencing product with the landscape of our ranch. Super excited to see our new arena footing go in next week.

It’s a busy week in Upper Ranch! The Mare Motel extension is going up and so are the new feed and tack rooms with concrete foundations. All of the roofing up there will have new rain gutters as we plan to catch future rain fall in Rain Water Harvesting Systems to ease run-off challenges and allow us to use that valuable resource later. Corral footing is being enhanced with lime, DG, and sand. All walkways are being reinforced with mesh mud grids filled with DG and sand to help preserve walkways and safe passage when it’s wet.
Our Upper Round Pen is open! It’s been laser leveled and has new DG footing. We added kick plates to keep the new footing in place. ❤️
Upper Ranch was a busy place today and things are coming together. Laser Grade, Inc. finished leveling the upper arena and round pen. Both our Round Pen and Arena are bigger and they added some beautiful new DG too.
We are also using a heavy duty magnet to pick up any materials left behind during the corral and tack room demolition and will be starting the new build this weekend. The welded wire panels and wood base for each corral has been delivered by Always Rolling Corrals. We hope to have horses back in the Upper Ranch by 10/25.
We are excited to start our arena laser leveling project this weekend! Thank you to Rick Hanson and Laser Grade Inc. for helping us with this project. The work will begin in Upper Ranch with the arena and round pen. Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Exciting renovations are happening in Upper Ranch where our new 120 x 64ft fully covered Mare Motel extension is going in later this week. The demolition is in full swing and new product is on its way from Always Rollin Corrals! 🐴❤️
