Giving Tuesday on a Wednesday.
A Love Story.

Matzoh Ballerrr - he strutted his lil’ b***y into my care. We fell in love instantly and this is the part of the story only I am able to share.

Instantaneously, that awful Long Covid Voice in my head (i call Stan) my inner Saboteur said “you can’t do this. I stole your ability to write. What do you know about putting together a love story on Giving Tuesday.”

I came to the conclusion that I would only regret not doing this. no matter how hard it felt I had to start.

As you may already know from our previous posts 🩵,

He passed away in his sleep, we continue to weep. His life was a country western love song cut too short to say the least, the love he leaves behind will forever remain
oh so very sweet.

Matzoh Ballerrr with his impossibly irresistible busted love nugget ways : Inexplicable, exquisite, unimaginably magnificent, exaggerated marble eyes with cumulous clouds swimming in their skies.

A bouquet of the sweetest smelling flowers and a raging stinking UTI (you know that smell).

We treated his medical needs, took away his pain and the 15-year-old Ballerrr had become a dog once again.

Giving Tuesday.
Give a little, Get a lot.

Matzoh Baller & the art that will forever remain his sassy busted love nugget SoulSpirit swaggah ::.

The foster cluster that never came to be (he passed away in his sleep), but that doesn’t mean a family wasn’t formed simultaneously.

Matzoh BD Ballerrr : don’t even think for a moment that this lil busted nugget & his marble eyes with clouds floating by (pain free as it’s gotta be)) - didnt have a mighty impact that was left behind.

Matzoh & Ash were gonna meet and feel it out, whatever was meant to be, was meant to be & always pressure free.

Ash had recently experienced the traumatic loss of her soul dog.
wHanda (the H is silent).

“For me personally, his impact was ginormous. Having suffered such immense heartache after the peaceful passing of my beloved Whanda I did not know if I would ever be strong enough to open my arms again. Let alone to another tiny Chihuahua with globes in their eyes. When I heard about him, and was given the opportunity by Carla of Synergy; a rescue, rehab & sanctuary for special needs animals to possibly step in as a foster cluster Guardian, it gave me the motivation to get back on my feet. To wash my The Snuggit along with opening that part of my soul up that is so important.

That part that I thought was Forever closed after wHanda.

He reminded me of the beauty and lessons of heartache and the power of being able to give end of life care to some of the most badass busted beings on earth.

He lit a light inside of my soul that I didn’t know could be reignited.” - Ash

Matzoh BD Ballerrr ~

he died (in his sleep) but there is more of the story to tell.

let’s start from the beginning.

he was fascinated by acorns our 15 year old little nature enthusiast : he was deaf blind and one of a kind.

“it was brought to my attention by a coworker, knowing I’m usually the one to embrace the super senior and special needs nugget, I could help.

She told me her neighbor had a senior small Chihuahua who they just didn’t want anymore, and were desperate to rehome. I’m a sucker for a Chihuahua especially an old one, I reached out to his guardian.

She explained to me they had him his entire life, that at one point he was a valued member of the family, but as time went on that value changed. I could hear her son in the background,
“can we get a puppy now.”

no longer “valued” He spent most of his time outside, or alone because he was “a lot of work”.

they were simply willing to abandon him, someone who gave them the best years of his life end up in a cement run.

His vision long gone, his hearing along with it, and his body slowly giving out on him.

My biggest issue is with four personal dogs another foster at the time the “inn” was quite literally full.

Knowing there was no conceivable way I could leave him there I reached out to the only people wild enough to help me, and who would find him as charming as I do, and that was Animal Synergy.

They had not yet solidified a space - but Carla being Carla promised me she would find a way to make it work.

this tiny chihuahua with orbs in his eyes, a waist so small my thumb to my index finger fit around Him perfectly.

He stunk so harshly of a mixture of skunk and UTI - held my breathe. There is nothing “wrong”
with him, he was simply getting older like everybody does.

we road home snuggled in my sweater, with the windows down to stop me from gagging from the smell.

He got a bath immediately, and then a second bath to try and get smell off him. He snuggled up into my neck and refused to leave my side at all, he craved the attention because at some point, he stopped getting it or perhaps never had it in the first place. i was more than happy to give it to him.” -Taylor

The More You Gotta Know 🌠 Love Nuggets & .

This public service announcement is brought to you by ••• NoJaw • Can’t-Hear • Has-A-Flap-In-His-Ear • GoldenPaw • {{ the evolution of a busted name }}.

Let’s keep all companion animals safe this 4th of July. While the 4th is a wonderful relaxing, beach picnic kind of a holiday, did you know that along with fireworks climbing high into the sky, that shelter admissions also skyrocket ?!

While we humans are celebrating at the park or the beach, our canine companions go nuts with the loud bangs and pops of fireworks - these loud noises alarm Nuggets near and far ~ they go berserk - they bolt!

What’s more, two-thirds of the animals who come in on the Fourth of July are NEVER claimed. The sooner you know, the sooner you can share this information and make a difference. It is integral that we get the word out: As they say in the Red Cross.: “preparedness.”

The days leading up to this holiday are hard on shelters, with record high euthanizations to make space for the influx on July 4 & 5. This is not the shelters’ fault, this is society and as a community we can make a difference and we can help!

The solution is simple : :
Put music/TV/noise on a volume loud enough to keep animals happy and keep them distracted. Stay with your companion animals and keep them inside or where you can physically have a hold on them. Last but not least, be sure they have their collars with ID tags & are microchipped.

This is one more opportunity for us to be the change. Let’s keep our animal safe on the Fourth of July and keep the animals in the shelter safe as well.

We have a responsibility as a society to do better and be better. And in this case, it is so incredibly simple, that it would be tragic to do nothing.

For every human out there with a companion animal - keep your precious pals safe this year! If you have a friend with a four-legged sidekick, inform them ::: PLEASE SHARE this message -🌈 with everyone you meet. Who knows how many lives you will save.

Wildlife is affected as well. That’s something to keep in mind if you’re setting of your own works because loving and awareness is wicked swell…

While our social media presence has been on the back burner, our hands-on : behind the scenes : daily-needs-and-adventures have neither dwindled nor fizzled

Our compassion consulting program is at an all time high, and the compass of collaboration has absolutely enhanced everyone’s glitter fashion.

While there’s no need to re-create the wheel, there is a great need to expand it.

No animal needs to die.
(It ain’t on our docket.)

"Let it not be said that I was silent when they needed me."

We rescued Pierre from a dismal situation where he had spent most of his 5 months of life lying on his side in a dirt pen exposed to the elements. Pierre has muscle atrophy and some neurological symptoms consistent with an injury at birth. But he wasn’t getting the proper care or rehabilitation to help him regain some of the use of his muscles so he could become more mobile. We made a promise when we founded Let Love Live that we wouldn’t turn away from suffering. So we brought Pierre into our program to work with Synergy; a rescue, rehab & sanctuary for special needs animals for better assessment and to create a plan for a better quality of life and to give him much deserved dignity. We are honored that we get to madly love this beautiful boy and be part of his incredible journey. Nicole Adriana

Next step? We need to order a 4 wheel cart from Eddie’s Wheels that is going to be approximately $1,500 that will help keep Pierre upright while he regains strength in his legs.

2024 The Year of The Noodle
- A Love Story -

Farewell sweet one, farewell sweet Noodle Sprout. ✨🌱✨

Sprout ascended this realm with dignity & in style. His body had become so very tired & the sparkle shine in his eyes was beginning to dim. We honored him by setting him free. Pain-free & lovingly—the way it has to be!

Sprout “flew away” in the comfort of his very own penthouse of life, his home, surrounded by all the familiar smells, while sitting atop his throne otherwise known as (me) my lap. 🏰

He was and will forever remain the greatest geriatrical gem 💎 His quirky shaped gait, slithery-snake macaroni “RUN” —to witness this magic filled our hearts with infinite amounts of smushicornin FUN!

He is a sorcerer of love. Deep soul knocking inspiration. Our little wicked bossy spicy magic maker. Shaped like a noodle and tiny like a sprout. Ancient and amazing at the tender age of 22. Half jaw, who cares. No teeth, no problem. Arthritis abounds, you spin me right round. Twisted spine, that’s totally fine. He’s a super senior spectacular and he never looks back. He walks (owns) this land, like he is in a one man geriatric marching band.
