The new House of Hounds facility is starting to look more and more like a building! I still feel like I am in a dream and can't wrap my head around the fact that this is real life. When I started my business I was grooming on an old kitchen table, with minimal equipment and maybe 10 clients. There have been moments of great success, growth, set backs, failure, knowledge gained, tears, sweat, the list could go on... This journey has been far from easy, but I am thankful for each step, as it has reminded me what it took to get here in the first place!

These two were so excited for snow! Duke is the dog who wants to stay outside in negative weather and if I let him he would curl up in a ball and take a nap under the snow. In the summer months he avoids the outside at all costs! Does anyone else have a pup like Duke?!

Dolly, Maxx and Pixie got to enjoy an enrichment walk today. 🥰 Dolly (left) joins us once a week to increase her confidence with other dogs and humans. Max (middle) helps Dolly come out of her shell and is my go to dude when I need help with a fearful pup. Pixie (right) has been coming for daycare for 4 years now and has grown up with JT!

I can't wait to have a space to offer daycare and training services to more pups. Seeing a dog come out of their shell is a true joy of the job. ❤️

Hounds family I am not ignoring you! This weekend is the 8th annual Tom and Matt Hill Memorial Walleye Fishing Tournament and my focus is on helping our committe run an 80 boat tourney with focus on family and fun. I am working diligently to reply to messages but my reply time is much slower than normal, and service is spotty out here. Hang tight as I navigate through this emotional weekend, Sunday I will be back to having full attention on my Hounds! Check out this fun table Ellie has to promote youth hunting and fishing safety. We go all out to make sure this memorial tournament is one patrons will never forget!

I think Tobes was excited to come and play for the day and enjoy a spa treatment. ❤️
