#puppytrainingtips When bringing a new puppy home potty training is something you need to stay on top of. I prefer crate training for my mini schnauzers. They don't like to go potty in their beds and are a den animal so they like to have their "cave." However you decide to potty train pee pads are essential. They encourage going only in certain areas and can be changed out quickly. I personally prefer not to have the disposable ones to cut down on landfill trash so I tried these washable pee pads. After the first week I'd say they work very well. If puppy has an accident I throw it right in the washer and lay a new one down. They are sturdy and last well through washings.
