Here are a few pics of Ryker, the sire of our upcoming litter. He makes his home in West Central Illinois and is phenomenal in the upland field and marsh. Ryker has sired litters that have produced some great field trial and hunting dogs. We're excited to see the results of his breeding with Penny!

We're excited to announce the upcoming litter of Penny x Ryker. Puppies are due around March 13 and will be ready for their new homes early May. An all chocolate litter is anticipated. See the link for the pedigrees and health certs of these 2 outstanding labs. PM for more info

What's very exciting about this pairing is that in the 3 generation pedigree of the puppies, the amount of top breeders and individual dogs that are legends in the world of Labradors that naturally point. Baier Labs, Cooperstown Kennels , Cornstalker Pointing Labs, Northstar Pointing Labs, and Sweet Whislin Kennels Pointing Labs. Not to mention individual dogs from Field trial lines that point and throw point, Moose, Pirate, and Button. We have very high hopes for this litter to produces very talented and accomplished pups, especially in the upland, but lacking nothing in retrieving work.

Pete and I got out for one of the last hunts of the year for wild Indiana quail and connected on a couple

Pete was born 2/10/22 at Cooperstown Kennels in Vesper, WI. He went from walking along side me hunting grouse in the UP in early October, to snorkeling for crippled divers in mid January before he was 1 year old.

Penny was born 4/1/18 at Cooperstown Kennels in Vesper, WI. She's been in the upland field, the Northwoods of the UP and the marsh since her first fall.
