On chilly mornings such as today it is a welcomed silence. The dogs were out before light to potty and play. Now fed they are sleeping.

Just a little brag for GCh Ch Del Brave Notorious Magical Me JH CGC and his trainer and handler Chris Adams, owner Renee Sillitti. 2 started passes in UKC hunt test. This is a tune up event for Theo to run AKC Senior events this Fall.

Izzy is a big UGA fan and has 3 baby human siblings that she is so calm and tender with. She is busy all day making sure her family is safe. I truly believe She knows when Nick comes home and she doesn't need to "work" anymore. Her natural hunting skills are impeccable and She loves loves to swim!! I am amazed at this bloodline. She is the smartest and best dog we could ever ask for. We are so thankful for you all! Happy birthday to these pups.

Yesterday, July 8th,2024 Joust received his wings. He was born Nov 22, 2009, bred by Dyane Baldwin using frozen semen of my dog Brave. Co-owned with Kevin Shaffer. Joust was bred 18 times and produced many wonderful offspring. His legacy lives on in my girls, Kiki (granddaughter), Emma (great-great granddaughter, and Jetty (granddaughter). Without a doubt an exceptional dog in merit. Gave good hugs. CH Del Brave A Knight's Tale MH. Like his sire he will continue siring offspring via frozen semen.

Nice week for Kiki in her first and only three Best Puppy 4 to 6 month old competitions at the Tarheel Cluster in Raleigh. She turns 6 months on March 16th. A BIS, Group 3, and a Group 1.

Del Brave Chesapeake Bay Retrievers is located in the Raleigh area of North Carolina, We are conveniently located for travelers coming from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and South Carolina.

For eight years prior to breeding my first litter in 2000, I trained my Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in obedience, conformation, for field work and hunt tests, and agility. I have a great love of this breed and appreciation of its unique qualities from those years of training which formed my dedication to breeding a Chesapeake Bay Retriever true to its hunting heritage while focusing on health, good temperament, and sound structure.
