Hello everyone! I know it has been a while and I surely hope you are all doing well and had a lovely Thanksgiving. I do have some good news - Fido’s Fleece has a holiday event! We will be participating in the Town of Indian Head Holiday Festival on the evening of December 10th at the Village Green Park and Pavilion (100 Walter Thomas Rd., Indian Head, MD). I surely hope that you can come out and see us - this sounds like it is going to be a wonderfully fun and festive event! And of course, we will have all your pets wants and needs covered for Christmas. It has been so long and I can’t wait to see you all 🐾

Hi friends! I know, it has been a while, but I wanted to come on and say 'hey' to each and every one of you, and to let you know about what has been going on with and the changes coming to Fido's Fleece. Ah, where to begin...

First, I guess we will start with a change that will be quite noticeable for Fido's Fleece. Through the years, you have known Fido's Fleece to be a passion project of mine in my quest to make a fun, interactive, and durable toy available to pets and their owners. You have also known the Fido's Fleece team to consist of myself, my mother, and the rag-tag misfits we lovingly refer to as our Quality Control Team. A well deserved, yet heavy-hearted, change is coming to that structure in that my mom has made the decision to retire from production and events. For our friends who have had the occasion to meet and chat with my mother at events, you know she is passionate about our tugs and how they are made and constructed. Unfortunately, the inevitable process of time has made it difficult for her to continue making toys to the standard that she herself demands. Therefore, she is making a lateral move within Fido's Fleece and while I will be handing production and events moving forward, she will be the QC Team Happiness Liaison. Let me tell you - the QC Team is thrilled about this change because it does my ego no good in saying that she is, hands down, their favorite employee...So, please join me in wishing the other half of Fido's Fleece all the best in her new role and maybe, just maybe, you might find her at random events doing QC Team site checks with a furry little friend.

This change does lead us into another difference you will find with Fido's Fleece, and that is when it comes to the events themselves. Now that I will be moving forward as the sole production for Fido's Fleece and handling events alone, Fido's Fleece will likely have to limit events attend to indoor events. This is a really difficult decision for me to make, and it really pains me due to the fact that our outdoor venues hold such a special place in our heart and have been pivotal in making Fido's Fleece what it is today (BoonDoggie Farm, we're talking about you ❤️!). Not only is this decision being made from a production standpoint, it is also coming from a capability standpoint. I too have to be mindful of my physical limitations, and unfortunately, the set-up at some outdoor events is something that I have to be mindful of since it is just me now. I do truly apologize to our friends about this change as I know it impacts your access to your pet's favorite fleece toys and because I know a great deal of you love these outdoor events as much as we do. Just know, I am still here for you all - indoor events and if your pets are demanding tugs or throws in-between, I am always available to meet our friends to get Fido's Fleece to you.

With all that change to adjust to, there is still so much to be excited for here at Fido's Fleece and I can only hope and pray that all of our wonderful friends and supporters will continue on with me while I navigate this new part of the journey. I am working hard to get my inventory up to be ready for a show when one opens up, I am mulling over different ways that I can bring Fido's Fleece to you in ways that maintains the same quality and value standards that have always been paramount, and I am even working on development of a new item for your pets! As always, as soon as events are confirmed, I will post those for you. Also, if there are places where you want to see Fido's Fleece, reach out to me! I try my very best to be aware of as many events as I can, but inevitably I miss some that might be wonderful. So, if you want to see me somewhere so your pet can get their tugs, let me know and I will do my very best to make it happen!

So, in closing (and this has been a long one - thank you for hanging in with me to read all of this!), the past few years have been a season of change for everyone it seems, and Fido's Fleece is going to take our change in stride and with positivity. We know that we have the most amazing friends and supporters around, we have a passion and desire to move forward in change while, at the same time, keeping our joy for making the world a better place one happy pet at a time, and the future is bright with all of you here with us . We truly do love all of you and what you have given us for the past 5 years (yes, 5 years!) and we can't wait to see what the future holds. As always, thank you for always being the driving purpose behind Fido's Fleece. See you soon 🐾

Simply put - you are amazing. The support you have shown Fido’s Fleece since we started this little thing in 2017 is heartwarming and awe-inspiring. It was so wonderful to see and catch up with familiar faces that have supported and championed us since the beginning, and it is always fun to meet new friends that love their pets as much as we love ours. When you come to these craft fairs you are not only supporting your neighbors and us, you support our dreams - as humble as they may be. We do this because we want to make animals happy, we want to make them realize how loved they are and how much they bring to us. You let us do that and you show us how much love there is for our four-legged companions. Thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We hope you all have a beautiful and blessed holiday season and that 2022 will bring us all together even more. Until then ~ 🐾

What a busy day it has been! I have been making like crazy the past week, of course there was Thanksgiving, and then this big guy got a bath today and is now relaxing (and supervising when he can keep his eyes open) and staying warm under his throw blanket. The truck is loaded with tugs and other goodies for your pets and I will see you tomorrow at the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department from 10-2. I am so excited to see everyone and help to prepare you for puppy euphoria come Christmas morning. So make sure to get there early so you can make sure you can get everything they will want and need. Hi everyone!! Just wanted to remind you that we will be at the Mechanicsville Vol. Fire Department next Sunday. I am working nonstop to get as many more wishbone tugs done as possible because your pups have loved them, and I hope to get a couple more throw blankets done before then too - I have some of the cutest fabric for them! I am excited to see all of our friends - this is such a great event and I guarantee you will be able to make a huge dent in your holiday shopping - people and pets alike 🐾

Hi friends! I hope everyone is doing well today. I know I had mentioned to everyone before that I was going to have two events this holiday season, but unfortunately one event was cancelled by the venue. That means that there is only ONE MORE EVENT before the holidays for you to pick up your pup's favorite tug or toss toy and throw blanket before Christmas! Fido's Fleece will be at the Mechanicsville Vol. Fire Department the Sunday after Thanksgiving. To say I am excited is an understatement! This is a fantastic event that is well attended with a wonderful variety of items to shop for your holiday gift list. So please, come out and see us, visit and support your community by shopping local for your holiday gifts. I can't wait to see you and help to make your pets leap for joy Christmas morning 🐾

Morning friends! I know it has been a while since I posted and I thank you all for your patience and understanding. It feels like the past few months have been a constant juggle between one emergency to the next. Sick people, sick dogs, etc. - y'all know the struggle - life. I am trying to get back into the swing of things because consistency makes things easier. That being said, I am unfortunately not going to be able to participate in the Vintage Flea and Farmer Market at BoonDoggie Farm on October 9th 😔 As always, I hope that you all are able to get out and enjoy it - I personally always love the October markets because the weather is usually fantastic and there are a ton of vendors ready to help you get ready for your holiday shopping pursuits. That disappointing bi of news said, we are pre-registered (from last years cancellations) for two events in late November (Mechanicsville Vol. Fire Department Craft Fair and Jaycees Holiday Bazaar) that we are anxiously anticipating and surely hope to see you at. I have quite a collection of tugs (including the newly debuted and highly enjoyed Wishbone!), puffs, and throws waiting for everyone! As soon as I have more time/date information confirmed on those two events, I will let you know. I miss seeing everyone; I hope you and your furry friends are all well, and I can't wait to see you soon. Oh, and this cutie below turned 14 years old a couple weeks ago! He is a bit slower than he used to be, he can't chase Evelyn Rose as much as he might like, but the s***k and fire still burn on in my old guy. Have a great day y'all 🐾

Just wanted to remind everyone that this amazing event is this Saturday. Unfortunately, due to some unexpected medical issues, we will not be able to attend. While we are very disappointed in this turn of events, we highly encourage everyone to check this out - you won’t regret it! Vintage, crafts, art, yummy treats - it’s all there. We have every intention to be back at BoonDoggie in October, but if your pups need anything before then, just message me and we will surely work something out 🐾

Truck is loaded and we will be setting up and getting ready for you tomorrow morning. We can’t wait to see you and for you to come see the HUGE selection of vendors - both new and seasoned veterans - that will be there tomorrow. So please, remember to grab your mask (and while everyone might have their own take and perspective on this, please respect our hosts and the rules they have to follow to bring this awesome event to you) and we will even have a hand sanitizing station for our friends too. I am like a kid the night before going to Disneyland - can’t wait 🐾

I know, I know....many of us are tired of seeing these signs! But, until restrictions let up, this is the way of the world and we all are doing our part. So please consider this your friendly reminder - we really want to see your smiling eyes on Saturday behind those masks! And hopefully, one day soon, regulations will be lifted and we can see your fully smiling face - and we cannot wait for that day! But in the mean time, please mask up and come out to support all these small businesses - your patronage keeps our market growing and thriving, and with nearly 40 vendors, we promise it will be worth it!!! 😷🎁🛍
