Walnut Grove, MO Forum is a site created to work toward greater transparency in city government as well as ordinances that will help improve the quality of life in our community. Such improvements include issues involving health, safety and animal welfare. This site is all about city improvement, facts and challenges. It also addresses national issues that may impact the lives of people here, provides helpful resources and a bit of humor.
Note that this site is privately owned. We reserve the right to ban those who visit only to criticize or make unproductive comments. All cities benefit from change and improvement. If you don’t want to be a part of that or if you don’t like the site, find a site you do like.
The administrator of this site is Lynn O'Toole, a ten-year resident of Walnut Grove, originally from Springfield, Missouri. Ms. O’Toole has a B.S. in Psychology with graduate hours in Guidance and Counseling and in Management. She has 10 years experience working with children at Missouri Division of Youth Services, 3 years experience working with mentally and physically disabled clients and has been a grant writer in charge of corporate and foundation relations for the national office of the Alzheimer’s Association in Chicago. Ms. O’Toole’s personal interests include gardening, animal welfare and horseback riding. Ms. O’Toole is a past member of Chicago Women in Publishing, National Grant Writers Association, Missouri Hunter Jumper Association and the Illinois Hunter Jumper Association. She is currently a volunteer for the ASPCA Horse Action Team and other nonprofit animal welfare organizations. O’Toole is the administrator of the Walnut Grove Animal Protection Society, an organization formed to advocate for humane animal welfare policies in the City of Walnut Grove, assist with stray animals and to help families needing resources for their pets.
