We passed! Now time to get all the finish work completed and get our final inspection before opening. All steps in the right direction!

Electrical inspection tomorrow! Fingers crossed all passes! If it does, it will be smooth sailing from here and should be done and ready to open by the end of the year! 🎉😄

We passed plumbing inspection! Now to get electrical inspection done and finish the remodel! Getting one step closer at a time! 🎉

Plumbing started today!
Once that is done in about a week we will get electric inspected and be on the road again to completion. A lot later than originally expected but we will get there! Hoping by the end of the year as long as all goes smoothly from here!

Update:
Plumbing will be done in the next one month, then we can finish the rest of our remodel phase. Unfortunately, we are looking at about another 2 to 3 months before opening. I am just as heartbroken as you! I apologize for all of the delays, but want to assure you we are doing everything we can to make sure everything is done right before opening.

Hello!
Unfortunately we have some sad news and opening date is once again pushed off. I know not the news anyone including us wants to hear but we are doing the best we can to make it a speedy process and do right by the city and state. Upon inspection, some things need to be redone to get the close out on our permits to be able to get the okay to proceed finishing and opening! The safety of all our clients and their fur babies is our number one priority so it is very important we do these steps properly! We will keep everyone posted as we get closer.
Thank you to everyone for the patience and kindness during our remodeling process- we truly appreciate all our future clients ❤️

Human eyes have three types of cones that can identify combinations of red, blue, and green. Dogs possess only two types of cones and can only discern blue and yellow - this limited color perception is called dichromatic vision.

Paint is going on to be dog vision friendly 💙

In the first photo you have a view of the office/lobby, large dog play area, small dog play area, and the kennel area!
In the second photo you get a glimpse of where the grooming room,bathroom, and staff room will be!
We will also have one larger “suite/kennel” to board a few kitties!

When We Open (BY SUMMER 2024):
At Amazing Grace, we will offer grooming and training in the near future after opening but we will start off by treating your pets to fun-filled days of socializing with other pets of its kind, interacting with our caring team, exercising, and burning off plenty of pent-up energy. Whether you need to leave them for a couple of hours while you run errands or for the entire day when you’re at work, or even longer for vacation time- we will offer daycare packages to suit every need. Your pet will make new friends in a fun-stress and cage-free environment. Don’t worry! If your dog likes it’s space and prefers no other dogs, we will have kenneled boarding available as well with alone exercise time/walks! Eventually, we hope to bring in/integrate rescuing as well- after everything else is up and running smoothly!

Unfortunately,
Opening date will be postponed for a few months! The permits and zoning are taking a lot longer than expected and we are at a stand still on construction for a bit! We know how excited owners and their fur babies are for a new place to stay, and will do everything in our power to make sure we are open by spring 2024! We will continue to post updates and photos of progress 🥰
