The Scorpio Zodiac Candles & Moon Melts!
These candles and moon melts are Dragon's Blood and Fire scented - the strongest notes of dragon's blood [rich, earthy, warm, herbal scent] with clove, sandalwood, patchouli, and amber notes.
Scorpio is the 8th zodiac and the fixed water sign ruled by Mars and Pluto. Mars is the Roman God of War, ruling over our passions and primal instincts. Pluto is the Roman God of the Underworld and rules over the occult and s*x. The combining rulers make scorpion energy intuitive, mysterious, alluring, passionate, and powerful.
Scorpio rules the 8th house– The House of Death and/or The House of S*x. This house in astrology is connected to magic, s*x, birth, and death. Please remember that death in an esoteric and astrology context refers to the cycle of birth and rebirth, death and life.
Scorpion energy is about facing the darkness and using it for positive transformation. Looking at the pieces of ourselves and society that are often shunned but are powerfully transformative when integrated and appreciated. Scorpion energy is intuitive and naturally inclined towards the occult, astrology, magic, and darker art.
Scorpio, as the name suggests, is represented by a scorpion. The idea of a scorpion tends to evoke the imagery of a sandy desert. On the contrary, Scorpio is a water sign. Water in astrology represents emotions; thus, a scorpion's hardened shell represents Scorpio's brooding, secretive energy. In other words, Scorpions have a soft emotional interior – with protective walls and a stinger to strike if need be [metaphorically]. The words of a Scorpio carry weight – a few words well said will sting.
Understanding that for balance to exist in the universe and within ourselves, we must accept that darkness is a part of the universe. Opposing the collective viewpoint, ‘darkness’ is NOT evil. In this context, it refers to the taboo, the parts of ourselves that can unlock us to higher vibrations and states of consciousness. In many ways, the theme here is that with death comes life and that for there to be light, there must also be darkness.
Scorpio season is when the world [northern hemisphere] has been experiencing more darkness than light – with the dark slowly building each day. Something that would intuitively induce rest and reflection in any living being or in a negative polarity – fear and frenzy. Being careful to remain in a positive mindset while divulging into the darkest parts of the year and ourselves is the best way to approach Scorpio season and shadow work – which Scorpio season energy is perfect for. Accepting parts of ourselves, we reject – while transmuting the layers we want to shed.
The Tarot Card representing Scorpio is the Death card – number 13. The rider himself is the most relevant symbology relating to Scorpio on the Rider-Waite Death card. He is a skeletal figure wearing armor – he represents the Grim Repear. The rider's flag has a five-petaled white rose utilized by various secret societies. The petals themselves represent the different senses. The Death card in the Rider-Waite deck shows ‘death on a pale horse’ standing atop the body of a King. While the rider did not cause the death, his approach heralds the time of change through the death.
The Scorpio Candles are meant to connect you with the transformative energy of Scorpio season – any time of the year!] With herbs such as wormwood, coriander, and red rose to connect with the Mars and water energy of Scorpio, these candles and melts are perfect for a time of transformation and transmutation.
