Introducing Zekes Boy “Jake” our newest family member and employee! Those of you who know me, know that we used to raise some damn good dogs and was proud to own “Gabe” who sired pups across the country. We unexpectedly lost Gabe at only 4 years old and have searched hard in our hearts to find a “replacement”. When McElyea Mike of Stockdog Exchange decided to retire and offered us “Jake” we couldn’t say no. He is an own grandson of the known “Zeke” and “Red”, so here’s to a renewed beginning to Mountain Top Border Collies. Many have asked about breeding to him, let him adjust to the change and new life here and we will gladly discuss.

Hot days mean hot asphalt. When walking your dog please remember to try to keep them in the grass or off asphalt. If you are unsure if it's too hot, put the back of your hand on the asphalt for 7 seconds. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for them.

We are with extreme heavy hearts this morning as Gabe unexpectedly passed away last night. As most of you all know Gabe was not your ordinary dog but a piece of history as well. Gabe" was only 5 years old, ABCA registered “Razor” bred dog. Bred by Vernon Wooley in Tishomingo, OK. He was trained by Brent Daniels and Don Workman of Atoka, OK. He competed in Oklahoma and several other states with Don and won Nursery division Dog of the year for him in the Sundowner Stockdog Association. Following that Jacob Alford competed and won his novice division and was again named dog of the year for a second time in the Sundowners Stockdog Association. Currently his full brother owned by Don Workman has earned over $20,000 competing in the Southeast and Southwest regions through several different states! More importantly he was a great dog here and worked right along side us in the pastures and pens! Gonna miss this guy for sure!

We are now offering Gabe to selected females for stud. Gabe" is a 4 year old ABCA registered “Razor” bred dog. Bred by Vernon Wooley in Tishomingo, OK. He was trained by Brent Daniels and Don Workman of Atoka, OK. He competed in Oklahoma and several other states with Don and won Nursery division Dog of the year for him in the Sundowner Stockdog Association. Following that Jacob Alford competed and won his novice division and was again named dog of the year for a second time in the Sundowners Stockdog Association. Currently his full brother owned by Don Workman has earned over $20,000 competing in the Southeast and Southwest regions through several different states! He sires high energy, working, bitable pups that have been placed in working homes around the country. Our stud fee for Gabe is $500 to pre approved and selected females! Let us know if you would like to interject some Gabe genes in your program!
