We’ve been busy not only saving lives but also finding loving homes for our furry friends! We’re thrilled to announce that two of our Fashion 5 kittens, Dior and Prada, have gone to their new homes under foster-to-adopt agreements. 🏠💖

So far, both are settling in wonderfully, and we couldn’t be happier! Moments like these remind us why we do what we do—it’s all worth it.

Drago was set to be euthanized on Christmas, but thanks to a foster, Animal Friends Furever saved his life! 💔 Now, this sweet boy is out of the shelter, but he’s battling an upper respiratory infection and must be kept completely separated from other pets. His current foster can’t maintain the necessary isolation, and time is running out!

Bringing a New Pet Into Your Home: Tips for a Smooth Transition

Adding a new furry family member to your home? Here are some tips to help them adjust and make their new life with you amazing:

🐾 Prepare a Safe Space: Set up a quiet area with their bed, food, water, and toys. This will give them a place to decompress while they get used to new sights and sounds.
🐾 Take It Slow: Introduce them gradually to other pets, family members, and their surroundings. Let them approach on their terms.
🐾 Stick to a Routine: Consistency in feeding, playtime, and bathroom breaks helps them feel secure.
🐾 Give Lots of Love & Patience: It may take days or weeks for them to fully adjust, so be patient and supportive.
🐾 Vet Check & Supplies: Make sure they’re up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and have proper ID tags. Stock up on food, bedding, and other essentials.
🐾 Train & Socialize: Start basic training early and encourage positive interactions with people and pets.

Another Wonderful Christmas Gift: Max and Bitzy’s Happy Ending

Max and Bitzy’s story is one of resilience and love. These two had a rough start in life, living on the streets at such a young age. Thankfully, a kind couple found them and saved them, though they couldn’t keep the pair as they were leaving the country. That’s when Animal Friends Furever stepped in to help.

The couple’s aunt Cele Shelmet Blasina graciously took on the role of foster mom, giving Max and Bitzy the time, space, and care they needed to heal and thrive. Her dedication paid off—Max and Bitzy are now happy, relaxed, and settled into their forever home.

A heartfelt thank you to Cele for opening your heart and home to these sweet babies. Your love and care have given them the happy ending they truly deserve.

A Christmas to Remember: Bosco’s Happy Ending

This Christmas truly made the year worth it. Yes, it’s the man himself—Bosco! After so much heartbreak and letdown, Bosco has finally found his forever home. He’s been officially adopted by his amazing foster mom and dad!

Bosco is an incredible dog who landed in the perfect home, and we couldn’t be happier for him.

A huge thank you to LLC RI, Michelle, and her amazing team for providing the absolute best care and support during his journey. Your boarding facility and dedication were nothing short of perfect!

Another big thank you to Alexandria Hawk Dog Training for never giving up on Bosco. Your relentless training, tireless efforts, and unwavering commitment made all the difference.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to John and Daphne Adam Daphne Cuyjet
for opening your hearts and giving Bosco the love and home he truly deserves.

This is the happy ending Bosco fought so hard for—and it’s the best Christmas gift anyone could ask for!

A Happy Ending for Chance

Remember Chance? The poor, scared guy in the shelter, there through no fault of his own, so anxious he needed to be sedated. His future seemed uncertain until a friend reached out to Animal Friends Furever, asking us to pull him—and we couldn’t say no.

A huge thank you to Danielle Lee DeDomenico and Joey for fostering Chance and starting him on the right path. Thanks to your care, he began to trust again. Through continued sharing, Chance was transferred to a new foster who was ready for the challenge.

Another big shoutout to Alexandria Hawk Dog Training for working tirelessly to help Chance’s new foster build his confidence. Your dedication made all the difference in helping him grow into the amazing dog he is today.

We’re so grateful to ACCT Love Local Partners & Volunteerst Sarah Barnett
for allowing us to step in and help this boy. And finally, the biggest thank you goes to his incredible foster parents, Denise and Amber, Amber Steiding
who did so much to transform Chance into the love bug he is now—and officially made him part of their family through adoption.

This journey has been full of love, patience, and second chances, and we couldn’t be happier for Chance and his forever family!

Animal friends Furever is still trying to get buttersquash . Denise Byrnes. We have an approved foster she will not be back till December 27. He has till the 26th but is declining in the shelter. We need a foster from Tuesday till Friday! We can buy his food and whatever else he needs for the few days. We just need to get this baby! We understand it’s hard it the holidays but we want to save him and it’s only a few days.
