If you are thinking about shooting trap in the 2025 season, now is a good time to start thinking about getting your Hunter’s Education Safety Course completed. It can be done online or you can sometimes find an in-person class.

Shooters must be in 5th-12th grade and turning 11 before 9/1/2025.

Tournament Reminder: Shootjng is planned to start at 10am tomorrow at Warren Shooting Sports Complex.

Junior 1 is state bound today! They will face off in a head to head competition again Corning 2. The squad with the highest score will advance to the next round.

Be prepared for rain tomorrow!

Junior 1 will start shooting on the 1st flight at 9:30 on field 12 against Corning Jr 2. Please arrive at Jacksonville by 8:45 on Friday, May 31st.

Opening ceremony will begin at 9:00.

For each flight, shooters will shoot 25 clays each. They will be competing against the team on field 11. The team with the highest squad score advances to the next round.

Don’t forget practice on Wednesday, May 29th at 4pm.

Trip Patrick claims a 25 straight patch at the final practice before state tournament on Friday.

His dad finally put Trip’s infamous quote “I thought I was going to shoot 25 but I didn’t” on a hat earlier this season and told him he had to wear it until he got an official 25 straight, so we threw in a little hat shooting ceremony to commemorate!

Warren Shooting Sports Complex will be hosting a tournament on June 1st. First round of shooting will start at 10am.

$40 entry fee. Supply your own ammo.

All shooters will shoot:
1 round of trap at 16 yds
1 round of trap at 27 yds
1 round of s***t

Cash prize. Purse depends on number of shooters.
