There are about a dozen Warren County residents who have been working very hard for over a year to plan Relay For Life which will take place this Saturday, Sept. 19th from 10 a.m. To 10 p.m. at Betts Park. They have been faced with unprecedented delays and disappointment in the planning process. During that time, they have lost friends and family to this disease, they have friends and family that have been newly diagnosed with cancer, and they have friends and family in treatment for cancer. In spite of the challenges, they persevered, and were able to build an event with more to do and see than past events. There is absolutely something for everyone of every age.

Covid did not cancel Cancer's relentless march. It did severely affect funding for the American Cancer Society. Warren County has the opportunity to change that course. Please plan on stopping down, there will be food trucks, a children's carnival, Bark For Life (for our canine companions), and much more. The event will be Covid Conscious, being mindful of your health and safety with masking and social distancing.

Come take a walk with us!! Relay for Life of Warren Co. is participating in this!! Meet us at Betts Park (Boat launch end) at 9:45 am this Sat. Jan 4th. We will take one lap around the 'track' at 10 am. (Starting at the parking lot to the walking path along the riverbank, cutting across the grass towards the Betts pavilion, past the playground) Relay for Life of Warren County will be on June 13-14, 2020 at Betts Park again after a few years of relocation. Bring your walking partner, family, favorite person and your furbaby with you and be a part of Warren County's fight to end cancer!!
