Happy Three Year Gotchaversary, Buddha! We love you, pretty girl.

Every day Buddha makes tiny little steps towards healing, ever braver each day. Hopefully some day she will reach that plateau where snuggles and love are accepted all of the time and she learns to fully trust people. Until then, constant love and adventures are to continue!

***Below was miss Buddha after two weeks of high fat food at the home that rescued her from the mill breeder, then two+ weeks with us on rice, fat, broth softened puppy cereal, and lunch meat with us. She was so rail thin when she first came you could see her organs. The second is our well filled out girl now, rattling her bowl because she wants food in THAT specific bowl and doesn't want to eat out of the others.

Pandora Panda has been adopted into a wonderful family where she will be spoiled rotten every day for the rest of her life. She really did find the best possible home to go to and we couldn't be happier for her.

Adoption Pending - Hello! My name is Pandora or Panda and I am looking for a forever home. I am a really good girl who loves car rides and long walks. I love snuggling on the couch or under the covers in bed; time spend snuggling someone in a quiet home is really the best thing ever, imho.

I am really good at sit and I am polite when I want a bite of something you have. I don't chew things that aren't expressly mine, don't destroy toys but love to put on a show of how "viciously" I can shake them.

Baths are ok, nail trims are a little scary but I love a treat afterwards and will patiently take either.

I'm very quiet and rarely bark unless it's something in my yard that doesn't belong, like that squirrel who taunts me and that possum looks shady too; a couple of boofs to let them know this is MY yard does the trick. A fenced in yard is important or a leash for walks, because I will chase things.

I don't make accidents in the house unless you leave me for several hours without a potty break. I am crate trained but since I lived the first few years of my life behind bars I'd really prefer not to have to spend a lot of time in there.

This is super important, I can be a bully and will start fights and nip at other dogs. I've never hurt another dog or broken the skin but a home without other dogs is really needed. It doesn't matter how big of a dog they are either, I will bully them. Kitties however, well, that big floofy orange one in my foster home gets lots of kisses from me because he smells funny and needs kisses.

I love to dance! When you come home there will be the best show of little woo-woos and tippy tappy dancing that you've ever seen! Every time I am excited I will serenade you with woo-woos and dancing.

I am papered, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations.

Most bostons love the water, and if not, this is a good way to ensure they always have a drink when outside. I highly recommend a pair of feeder goldfish for the pool as well. They keep the algae down and the insect larvae off the top, as well as providing endless hours of entertainment for your boston. ;)

Past Rescue: Magnolia. She's a four year old Boston terrier who will be up for adoption as soon as she's spayed/vax/chipped. She's good with other dogs, kitties. Super smart, quick to learn, loves to please. Will post details after her vet visit and appointment. Pics to come until then 🙂

Just a reminder: Don't leave your dogs, any dogs, but especially small ones outside unattended for even a moment!

Jelli Bean pranced outside with me today while I went to try and break the ice for the goldfish to feed them. The doggy door was open so she could go back in when ready, so I turned my back. Then the screaming began...
..She'd gone potty and her feet instantly froze to the ground. She was trapped, she panicked. Her pads are sore, and if not for someone else being right there, she might have been hurt more.

It can happen instantly in the temps many of us are feeling right now. (7 degrees here, windchill -14). Please don't leave your babies alone, and take the extra time to put shoes and a coat on them for their safety!
