🏆 HITS Constitution Classic update 🏆

▪️Liz Mras and her “Booster Gold” Champion 3’ Thoroughbred Hunter
▪️Alexandra Dastjerdi and “Tarantino” top ribbons in the Modified Adults their first show together
▪️Alyssa Whitfield and “Reghitto” zoomed in the jumper ring to 4th in both 0.65 classes Saturday and 3rd in the Classic Sunday
▪️Lila Trent and her “Caption” had nice trips in the Children’s for a pair of 2nds and 8th in the Classic with a second round score of 82

The sweetest gentle giant is looking for the perfect situation in an in barn lease. Coolio has been showing in the 2’6 Low Children’s and 3’ Adults at local and rated shows and various 3’ divisions with a professional since purchase in March 2024. Trailer to ring. Always jumps. Beautiful, hack winning mover. Flat jump for his size. Due to his size and age, please no beginners.

Very reasonable on farm lease with showing opportunities available immediately. Expenses plus a small lease fee. Must lesson at least once a week with MSF Equestrians. No outside trainers.

Back from beautiful weather at Lexington National horse show ☀️ Our small but mighty team had a great 4 days!

▪️Mary Ficklin and “Wyatt’s Joy” took 10th in the VHC Derby
▪️Chrissy Clark and her “Wyatt’s Joy” got nice ribbons in the Special Adults
▪️Strider Christian and “Comedy” had a great weekend his second time in the Younger Adults. Taking the win under saddle and a 75 and 82 on Saturday just out of the ribbons and finishing 11th in the Classic.
▪️Lila Trent and her “Caption” finished Younger Children’s Champion and Grand Champion Children’s Hunter.

🥇Strider Christian and “Comedy” win in the Modified Adult under saddle and good ribbons over fences
🥇Lila Trent and “Caption” take a win in a Younger Children’s trip
🥇Alyssa Whitfield and “Reghitto” win their first jumper round together in the Baby Jumpers on her birthday to boot! Great ribbons in large 2’ and 2’3 schooling hunters
🥈Liz Mras and “Booster Gold” 2nd over fences in the middle Adults and good ribbons in all other classes
🥉Mary Ficklin and “Wyatt’s Joy” take a pair of 3rd and a 2nd under saddle in the 2’9 Schooling Hunter

Trainer, Mary Ficklin.

Mary Ficklin was born in the true horse country of Fauquier County, Virginia. Growing up in Delaplane, Mary's love for horses started at a very young age. At age 5, she began her love for riding at Madcap Farm. Very soon weekly lessons turned into leasing ponies and everyday trips to the barn. Around age 10, Mary started showing on the local VHSA hunter/jumper circuit and eventually broadening into the A circuit hunters.

In 2008, Mary bought her first investment horse, Sebastian. Sebastian was one of a kind and ended up not being for sale as planned. Mary competed Sebastian and many other horses very successfully in the local and A rated Children's hunters, Medals, and Equitation as a junior rider. She has many year end awards including high point rider, high point trainer, and several high point division awards. Since 2014, Mary is an Equine Veterinary Technician at the Piedmont Equine Practice in The Plains, Virginia.
